Athleta Best of Compliation Fit Reviews!

Happy August! My shopping ban has gone into effect! I hope everyone had a nice relaxing weekend. As promised, here is the master list of all Athleta fit reviews of items that are still available on their website. I've listed the items in alphabetical order to make it easy for you guys to search. If you find this helpful feel free to bookmark it. Let me know if this is something you would like to see updated on a regular basis. If you are new to Athleta, I highly recommend their Farallon, Brooklyn, and Balance line. Be aware that the Balance fabric is suuuuuuuuper soft, but with that it comes at a price. It does pill so if that bothers you, stay away.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Typically wear size XS/PXS in Athleta tops and bottoms. I've listed the sizes underneath each photo that works for me. I also wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.

Let's start!

Balance Jogger - I love the Balance line and hope Athleta keeps it around. I find this jogger to run on the large side. I personally am not a huge fan of wide waistbands like this one. However it is very soft. Length is very petite friendly.

Balance Jogger (Size PXXS for this one) | Review

Balance Pullover - I wanted to love this one because it is very comfortable top for lounging in but I did not like the drop sleeve. It's also fairly oversized.

Balance Pullover (Size PXS) | Review

Balance Shortie - These are casual shorts. Great for lounging or pajama shorts. Super soft with a four inch inseam.

Balance Shortie (Size XS) | Review

Balance Sweatshirt/Hoodie - I'm not sure why they call this a sweatshirt and not a hoodie. That always confuses me. This is probably my favorite Athleta hoodie. I have it in two colors. Super soft and comfy and is similar to Lululemon's Catch A Breath Hoodie.

Balance Sweatshirt/Hoodie (Size XXS) | Review 1 | Review 2

Brooklyn Ankle Pant - These are very work friendly. I have them in three colors. Length measures 25 inches and I'm tempted to get them in Mountain Olive as well.

Brooklyn Ankle Pant (Size 0P) | Review

Brooklyn Jogger - These are featherlight and the fit is perfect for petites. Length measures 25.5 inches. The fabric is similar to Lululemon's Swift. Love, love, love them!

Brooklyn Jogger (Size 0P) | Review

Brooklyn Wide Leg Crop Pant - I have this in two colors and is a great casual summer pant. The inseam measures 22 inches long. Very petite friendly.

Cabo Linen Short - I recently tried these and didn't love it, but it's still available on the website if anyone wanted to give it a try. I wasn't crazy about the pocket placement.

Cabo Linen Short (Size 0) | Review

Coaster Luxe Sweatshirt - This is probably my favorite Athleta sweatshirt. Super soft and very comfortable. Definitely loungewear staple.

Coaster Luxe Sweatshirt (Size PXS) | Review

Elation Tight - I tried these on a few years ago. They are probably the best fitting tights for petites. They fit around my ankles and the length is 25 inches. Perfect!

Elation Tight (Size PXS) | Review 1 | Review 2

Face Mask - Hands down my favorite mask to wear. I have ten that I rotate. Even my husband likes these the best out of all the ones we tried.

Face Mask (One size fits most) | Review

Farallon Jogger - These are my favorite joggers second to Vuori joggers. They are heavier and probably better for cool summers or fall temperatures. My favorite is the camo print!

Farallon Jogger (Size 0P) | Review 1 | Review 2

Farallon Short - Super soft and comfy for summer. They're cottony and medium weight. Definitely perfect for errands or lounging.

Farallon Short (Size 0) |Review 1|Review 2

Harmony Wrap - One of my favorite wraps from Athleta. Super comfortable and I absolutely love the back detailing. It always makes me happy whenever I wear it. Currently on sale!

Harmony Wrap (Size XXS) | Review

Mindset Sweatshirt - This one feels super soft on the outside but a little scratchy on the inside. The curved hemline is also not my favorite.

Mindset Sweatshirt (Size XS or PXS works for me) | Review 1 | Review 2

Mission Hoodie - This is a great fall hoodie, but I do think Athleta will phase this out soon. Very unfortunate. It's currently half off!

Mission Hoodie (Size XS) | Review

Organic Daily Crew Tee - This is an essential tee. My first one was the Camo Crew which is currently on super sale. These are simple but made of soft organic cotton.

Organic Daily Crew Tee (Size XS or Petite Small) | Review 1 | Review 2 | Review 3

Organic Daily Relaxed Tee - This runs a little large since it is relaxed. I actually prefer this fit over the original fit.

Organic Daily Relaxed Tee (Size XXS) | Review

Pranayama Wrap - This is an office staple for me. Great for summer and easy to wear. Very soft. The fabric does pill however.

Pranayama Wrap (Size XSP or XXS also works fine) | Review

Pure Luxe Sweatshirt - This one is just as cozy as theCoaster Luxe Sweatshirt. It's very soft and very warm. The gray camo is on super sale. I think I may need to get it.

Pure Luxe Sweatshirt (Size XS or PXS) | Review

Release Tee - This is a really great summer tee. Very light and breathable. A little on the sheer side depending however. Very oversized fit.

Release Tee (Size XXS) | Review

Salutation Jogger - Made of Powervita fabric. Very buttery feel similar to Nulu. Petite friendly and worth checking out.

Salutation Jogger (Size PXS) | Review

Sculptek Skinny Jeans- These are by far my favorite jeans if I'm going to wear denim. I have 4 pairs and will leave them at that. They're super comfy and stretchy.

Sculptek Skinny Jean (Size 2P) | Review 1 | Review 2

Solace Bra - Athleta definitely retires a lot of their bras. This bra has staying power and I can see why. It's a great everyday bra and perfect for low impact workouts.

Solace Bra (I wear size small in this and typically wear a size 6 in Lululemon bras) | Review

Stellar Crop - These have been updated since my fit review, but I still think they're worth taking a look. They're very professional looking and great for the office.

Stellar Crop (Size 2P) | Review

Studio Jogger - I found these to run a little large. I tried them in PXS, but wonder if a PXXS would have been better. They are very soft and definitely worth checking out.

Studio Jogger (Size PXS, but they do run little large) | Review

Studio To Street Sweatshirt - This one is very soft on the outside but the inside feels like a Terry cloth. I personally prefer cozy fleece on the inside.

Studio To Street Sweatshirt (Size XS or PXS) | Review

Sundown Sweatshirt - Looks like Athleta discontinued the petite sizing for this top. I wore size Petite Small, but a XS should fit similar. I didn't find this to be super soft, it feels like a Terry towel on the inside.

Sundown Sweatshirt (Size XS) | Review

Triumph Hoodie - I'm not a huge fan of these hoodies, they are very popular but I always find the pockets to be awkward on me.

Triumph Hoodie (Size XS or PXS) | Review

Tugga Sherpa Jacket | Tugga Long Sherpa Jacket -These two are probably my favorite cozy winter pieces. Super snuggly and very warm. They're not currently available on the website, but I am almost 100% sure they will be back in a couple of months. They're super popular.

Uptempo Hoodie - This is a long hoodie that can also be worn as a tunic if you're very petite. Super soft and comfortable.

  1. I can’t thank you enough for putting this together, Leslie! Extremely useful for us Canadians when Athleta is finally available here! Just can’t wait!

I’m interested in the Pranayama Wrap, Studio Jogger and Tugga Sherpa Jacket. Their petite bottoms look perfect on you and I wonder if they will run a tad short on me at 5’3”. Regular size might fit too long though.

Off topic. I wonder why Lululemon has changed the name of Vinyasa Scarf to Customizable Snap Scarf. I have a feeling that they are phasing this popular scarf out ….

    1. Thanks Andrea!! I don't know when Athleta will finally be available for Canada, but figured this would help. Hopefully soon.

Hmmm you're right in the middle of petite and regular. Might have to try both and see which one you prefer.

Really... I haven't checked the Vinyasa in a while... haven't worn a scarf in so long! I hope they don't phase it out...

  2. hi Leslie! Thank you for this comprehensive review! It's like a beginner's guide to Athleta! Very helpful indeed! I really like the matching Balance Jogger and Hoodie on you. Those are on my wish list. I want to try their petite size leggings as well. Not sure which one yet, but it sounds like the Salutation leggings are somewhat similar to Aligns and a good one to start?

    1. Hi Karen! It's been a few years since I tried the Salutation leggings but yes these are the closest to Aligns. They're a little thicker and less delicate. Very comfy for sure.

I tried on the Capri length a long long time ago. Here's my review.

    2. Thanks for this! I just wish you had more legging reviews for me to have a better gauge of my size. I noticed we like the same stuff! I got the solace bra in white camo plus the two camo farallon jogger and shorts! I recently got the elation white camo and wasn’t too happy with the fit XS. I struggled to pull it past my hips at first and did hear a bit of thread snap. Once up it fit but the waist was a bit loose on me. I’m not considering the ultimate stash camo leggings and was hoping to see if you tried it on. Pls do add on my reviews of Athleta leggings. They are super helpful!

    3. Hi Yourworldtraveller! To be honest, I almost never wear leggings anymore now that I live in Atlanta. I have about 20 pairs still tucked away in my drawers but I never reach for them. I usually wear size PXS in Athleta leggings if that helps. I would try them on at the store but they do not carry the petite line. I will keep that in mind to try more Athleta leggings in the future. I'm glad you found my other Athleta reviews helpful!

  3. Thanks for your reviews! I’m the opposite, 6’0 tall but it’s so hard to find blog reviews. If you say something has super long arms I know to check it out, haha. I buy a lot of stuff on Poshmark etc so it’s great having reviews available for stuff they no longer sell.
Also my daughter loves your Totoro shirt!

We tried HelloFresh for the past two months - Here's our review

Hi everyone! This post is written by my husband. Some of you may know he does all the cooking around here. 😅 We noticed we were spending a lot of money on food and eating out every month and wanted to see if a meal kit service would save us money and time. After looking at a few meal kit services we settled on HelloFresh. Without further ado, here's Jared's review. (Original post date Aug 2022). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As you may have seen from Leslie's Instagram stories for the past 2 months, we've been using HelloFresh for most of our meals. The main drivers for this were to better track what we eat and because on the advice of my doctor, I should be eating more home cooked meals. Before I go any further, it should be noted that my original career path was in culinary arts, but twists and turns in life changed that. So I do have formal cooking experience. A little background story. Over the years, I've developed

Happy May! Can't believe summer is right around the corner. I'm looking forward to visiting my family later this month. It's been nearly a year since I've been back to NYC. I'm already thinking about all the dim sum I'm going to cram in the 10 days I'm there! 😆  Today I have a review of the new  Everywhere Belt Bag Extended Strap  compared to the original  Everywhere Belt Bag  that is slowly being phased out. 😢  **** Update - The original Everywhere Belt Bag has been phased out completely.
