Petite Impact

  Happy Friday! Today we have a fit request from Cindy for Athleta's Run With It Jacket. I happened to see one at the store and did a quick try on. I also grabbed the Seasoft Quarter Zip in Pyrite. I am still loving neutrals lately. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size Petite XS in Athleta. Run With It Jacket Black Size XS Athleta stores do not carry petite sizing so I usually try on XS and XXS to get an idea of what it might look like on me in size PXS. The Run With It Jacket is fairly roomy in size XS. I would definitely need petite sizing in this jacket.  The jacket length is too long, hitting my low hip. The sleeves are also very long, to no ones surprise. It's a very comfortable jacket. Fabric is Featherweight Stretch and would make a nice layering piece. Happy Friday! I can't believe it's going to be June tomorrow. This year is flying by. It's the start of summer season here in Hotlanta. I'm super grateful I have a few linen pieces to keep cool, but I wanted to pick up a few more. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4/6 in Lululemon bottoms and size Petite XS in Athleta. Athleta Breezy Muscle Tank Abalone Gray Size XXS Athleta's Breezy Muscle Tank  feels like it's linen, but it's a mix of Tencel/Modal and Polyester. It's thin and lightweight and perfect for hotter days. It is a little bit on the sheer side. I'm wearing size XXS, but I found it a little too high in the armhole. You can see in the photo this tank has extra arm coverage, which is nice, but I would have preferred an XS because of it. The length hits at high hip, which I do like a lot. It's the perfect length where it's not too long or too short and still looks clean and put together. Price is $44

  I stopped by the store again to see if they had any Taupetastic items but no luck. I guess I may bite the bullet and place an order online. I have been trying to visit stores more often these days.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in tops and I like to size up to 6 for comfort in pants. Ultralight Waist Length T-Shirt Light Vapor Size 4 also wearing Vuori Boyfriend Cargo Jogger Size XXS This t-shirt is made of thin lightweight mesh fabric. It is slightly see-through. I'm wearing size 4 and it's a perfect fit at the shoulders and arms, but if you want a slightly looser fit, I would size up. This top is meant for running and training. The length is perfect for petites, it hits at the low waist on me. For $58, it's not bad for Lululemon pricing. This top comes in a lot of different colors.   Happy Friday! This is a long post, so grab your drink of choice and get comfy! I placed an order but only one item arrived; the  Hotty Hot HR Short 4 inch Iridescent . I'm still waiting on a few more items, so I went to the store to see what new items they had and did some try-ons.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon bottoms. Hotty Hot HR Short 4 inch Iridescent Tidewater Teal/Power Purple Size 4 Hotty Hots are my favorite Lululemon short to workout in. I personally prefer the 2.5" length, but I couldn't resist the Iridescent colorway. These are 4" in length and they're still flattering on my short frame. I love how they look, but the only thing I'm not a fan of, is when I'm walking on the treadmill on a steep incline I can feel the hem of the short hit against my thigh with every step I take.
