Fit Review! Rothy's Lace Up & The Point in Night Metallic

Just like that it is February! I love a nice pair of sneakers. When I'm not at the office I pretty much live in sneakers. Usually they're Allbirds or Merrell's but I've been eyeing Rothy's Lace Ups for quite awhile now.  For  reference I wear a size 5 in Rothy's  The Point and Mary Jane's .  The Lace Up Golden Metallic  Size 5 Enjoy $20 off your first purchase with code  WELCOME20 . While I love the idea of a pair of white sneakers, I know I could never keep them clean which is why I chose the Golden Metallic Lace Ups . It's an off white- almost a bit creamy with gold stitch accents and color blocking on the body.  Fit is true to size. I wear a size 5 in all Rothy's shoes and this is no different. These are meant to be worn barefoot or with thin socks. If you're in between sizes definitely size up as these only come in whole sizes.  There's the signature blue halo across the back of the heel that is on every Rothy's shoe. It's h

Fit Review! Rothy's Merino Wool Camel Herringbone Points

Hope everyone had a nice relaxing weekend! I've updated the look of my blog. A few of you asked for email notifications. Click on the subscribe link at the top right corner and new posts will be sent straight to your inbox! Please let me know what you think and if you see anything funny going on, definitely let me know. I'm still playing around with it but would love to hear some feedback. Can you guys believe it's already mid November? The holidays are right around the corner. Normally I would be heading back to NY to visit my family but not this year. On the other hand this will be the first Thanksgiving I get to spend with my husband in 4 years. I was thinking it would be nice to stay at home and have a Thanksgiving meal (he will be the one cooking of course) and maybe actually put something nice on instead of my usual joggers and pullover. What are you all doing for the holidays? I really want to go back and visit my friends and family, but I just can't risk it. L

My New Rothy's! & The Merino Collection

Happy Friday! My apologies for not having my usual Fit Review Friday up. I placed an order for the Short & Sweet Sherpa Jacket and Still Lotus Wrap Reversible . I hope to have reviews up next week. Lululemon just posted the ivory color for the  Short & Sweet Sherpa Jacket . I think I still prefer antique bark the most.  Today I have instead a review of my new Rothy's The Point in Tangerine Triple Stitch . This is my second pair of Rothy's in The Point. The tangerine triple stitch is a unique mix of orange, blue, and black which makes it look like a berry color at times. The texture of the knit always makes it feel apropos for fall.  The Point Enjoy $20 off your first purchase with code  WELCOME20 . For those of you new to Rothy's, they are a sustainable company that makes these shoes out of plastic bottles. I think that's amazing to be honest. I wouldn't think walking on plastic would be comfortable, but surprisingly these are very walka

Fit Review Friday! Rothy's The Point

Happy Friday! Also, happy May! I can't believe how fast this year is going by. Today I have for you something a little different. My Lululemon order took almost a week to arrive, which threw off my fit review Friday post. I'll be photographing my Lululemon order this weekend for next week's fit review Friday.  The Point Enjoy $20 off your first purchase with code  WELCOME20 . Recently I’ve been looking for a summer flat for work and my sister in law asked me if I had ever tried Rothy’s . I said, no but I would be willing to try a pair. I perused their website and saw they had a pointy flat, aptly called The Point. After reading some reviews on The Point, some say they ran true to size, others said because of the pointy toe, to size up half a size. I ordered a size 5 and 5 1/2 to try since it is free shipping and returns. With so many other shoe companies to purchase from, why Rothy's? For  me, it all started with Allbirds . I wanted to somehow try
