  Happy Friday! Some interesting news today. Athleta's President and CEO Maggie Gauger will join Lululemon as Chief Product Officer, a newly created role. I feel both brands are floundering. They really need to hire new designers. It's very telling when I haven't bought/kept a single Lululemon item this year. I've spent more at Athleta for sure. Looking at my spreadsheet I have spent a total of $650 at Athleta so far. That's not a lot considering it's October! If it wasn't for Banana Republic, my spending on clothing would have been a record low. Today we have an Athleta fit review. 😆 For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size PXS/XS in Athleta. I also wear size 4/6 and XS/S in Lululemon. I've been journaling for most of my life, except back then it was called writing in a diary. I go through about two journals per year and I still have maybe a handful that are waiting to be used. Recently I wanted to explore leather journal covers with the idea that I should buy refillable notebooks instead of buying new journals to be more eco-friendly.  I picked out three brands to try out. Leather Tannerstein's Pegai, Shinola, and KMM are put to the test. Which one has the best leather and design for the price?  Pegai Leather Journal Dymnos Brown I picked the Dymnos Brown because of the leather description "top-grain calfskin with a nubuck finish that invites touch before anything else". Happy October! Get ready for the rest of the year to fly by. I love October, it's my favorite month. Fall is here, the temperature is dropping, I get to wear my cute sweaters, the air is crisp, and if it gets chilly enough I'll soon be drinking hot chocolate. Of course there's Halloween and the start of the holiday season to look forward to. This is my first Aviator Nation purchase in quite a while, I think it's been over a year. Aviator Nation hoodies are still my most worn hoodies, hands down. I am almost always wearing one around their hoodies around the house and now that it's cooler I'll get to wear them out.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size XS in Aviator Nation. I also wear size PXS in Athleta and size XS/S and 4/6 in Lululemon.
