  Happy Friday! It's also officially summer! Even though it is very warm out, I still like to wear my Softstreme pieces when I'm at the office and there's nothing but free AC all day long. 😅 Which is why I couldn't resist placing my order for three new pieces in Taupetastic! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and 4/6 in Lululemon bottoms. I like to size up for their pants. Softstreme High Rise Short 4" Taupetastic  Size 6 This is my second pair of Softstreme High Rise Short. My first pair was black and I did wear them quite often, so I decided to get a second pair. These are super comfortable, especially when you size up. I'm at the age where I do not like tight clothing anymore. 😌 I still think these look flattering even in a casual fit.   Happy Friday! Today's post is all about ribbed Softstreme and you all know I love Softstreme fabric. Ribbed Softstreme does remind me of fine corduroy, especially in shorts and pants.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms. Please note, the sizes I'm trying on in this post are not size 4. 😆 Ribbed Softstreme High-Rise Short 2" Black Size 6 I've been hearing a lot of good things about the  Ribbed Softstreme High-Rise Shorts  even though there is no stretch to the waistband. I sized up in these and the reviews are correct. While these fit well in size 6, there is not much give in the waist. They are high-rise and sit above my belly button.  I think these look flattering from the front, but slightly too much fabric from the sides and back. The color black also looks like a dark charcoal/gray. The two inch inseam was fine from the front and slightly shorter in the back, but I didn't feel like it was too ...

  How is everyone doing? I went to Avalon to make some returns and decided to do a couple of quick try-ons.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. I typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms. For Athleta I usually wear size XS/PXS.  Multi-Cargo High-Rise Hiking Skirt Seal Gray Size 4 I thought this hiking skirt looked pretty cool in black, but the store only had Seal Gray in my size. The waist hits at my bellybutton and feels true to size. The 16 inch length falls just above my knees. The liner also measures 6 inches long. The skirt felt fairly comfortable with a drawstring tie to adjust the fit. The large pocket on the side definitely looks better in the black version, it just looks too big and bulky in the two-tone color. Overall, I liked the skirt but the price is steep at $98.
