Petite Impact

  This post is written by my husband, Jared! I've converted him (mostly, you'll find out why that is) to Allbirds. I bought him his first pair of  Trail Runners SWT  and this is his honest review.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I really should preface this with the fact that I’m a walker. Walking is therapeutic for me and whenever I’m back in NYC, a light day of walking is around 8 miles. Usually I’ll hit a minimum of 13 miles a day in walking and I’m a fast walker. The other issue with those three shoe types was that if it’s raining in NYC, you’re going to slip, especially on certain sidewalk types. Okay, I am loving this new  Scuba Full Zip Hoodie in Taupetastic/Gold . I am debating if I should hold out for it in the cropped version. The color combination with the gold zipper really makes it! Also, I guess beige brown is in because Allbirds also released a bunch of new shoes in Rugged Beige and I think pairing it with Taupetastic would look amazing. If anyone wants to see a fit review, let me know in the comments below. I am probably going to place an order. Happy Friday! I've had my Tree Flyer 2 in Black for 8 months now and it's been my go-to everyday walking/commuter/gym shoe. I decided that I needed a second pair if I am going to wear them to work. I'm really not supposed to wear sneakers at the office, but no one has complained so far, so I am going to keep wearing them as long as I can.  For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds shoes.  Tree Flyer 2 On the left we have my 8 month old Tree Flyer 2 in Black and on the right is the new Thunder Purple. Both are size 5.5. The black pair actually has held up well. The only wear I see is on the mid sole where it is a bit scuffed up. It's mainly because I like to kick my shoes off at the end up the day and that's where I put my other foot to use as leverage. There are no rips or holes anywhere else on the shoe.  Not much wear on the soles, just mainly dirt. The outer and upper portions of the shoe look great. I'm very pleased with the quality of the shoe so
