New Rothy's The Driver in Latte

How are we already halfway through April? Spring is definitely here and I wanted to share my recent Rothy's purchase. The Driver is my favorite Rothy's shoe at the moment.  For reference I wear size 5 in The Point, and I also fit size 5 in The Driver. Rothy's The Driver Latte Size 5 Enjoy $20 off your first purchase with code  WELCOME20 . This is my third pair of Rothy's Drivers. I have two pairs and home and I leave a pair at the office (in Cypress). My first pair of Drivers is Raspberry (read  my review ). Latte is such a great neutral that works well with almost any outfit. I can see myself wearing these with ankle pants, shorts, and even jeans. I will definitely be taking these with me on my business trip this week. The dress code is "smart business casual" and these fit the bill.  If you're familiar with Rothy's Points, these fit wider in the toe box and are more comfortable for walking longer distances, although I do not fully recommend wearin

Fit Review! Athleta Farallon Pant & Elation Pant

Hope everyone had a nice weekend! My weekend was still low-key since my DH is still not feeling 100%. I have some new fit reviews coming up! There will be a Lululemon and Vuori post in the near future. Today I've got the second half of my Athleta haul.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size PXS in Athleta bottoms. I also wear size 4 in Lululemon bottoms. Farallon Pant Coastline Blue Petite XS (on sale $64.99) I'm a big fan of Athleta's Farallon Jogger  and wanted to see how the pant version compared. I'm wearing my usual size Petite XS and it is true to size. The waist is a perfect fit and sits right underneath my belly button. These pants are straight-leg and fitted from waist to hip. Wide leg pants are on-trend right now and if you wanted a more slouchy 90s look, sizing up could be an option.  The length is perfect for petites, measuring 25 inches long. I'm wearing them with my Birkenstock sandals . The color Coastline blue is showi

Fit Review! Rothy's Loafers Indigo Cloud & The Portfolio Indigo Sky

Happy Friday! To those celebrating this weekend- Happy Mother's Day! If you have furbabies - you deserve to be celebrated as well! I know it firsthand how rambunctious and crazy four teenage cats can be. 😅 Also for those of you interested in my second Pfizer shot and how it went- here's a photo of my Covid arm. Lovely! 😖 I had very mild side effects for the most part. I was super tired and groggy the day after, to the point where I took a 30 minute nap during my lunch break. Then after I ate dinner I took a Tylenol and slept for 12 hours straight. I woke up today feeling much better, but my arm is definitely red and itchy. There is a slight lump where I got the shot and my armpit is also pretty sore. Definitely a strange feeling. I'm hoping this will go away soon. Other than that, it went well. I can't really complain. Let's get on to the review! I've been meaning to try a pair of Rothy's Loafers for a while now. They look really comfortable and I like th

Review! Rothy's Mary Jane Golden Gingham & Kid's Rose Double Stitch Loafer

Happy Friday My husband and I have been renovating the bedroom. It's something we've been talking about doing for two years and it's finally happening! So far we have repainted all four walls, pulled up the carpet and now the flooring is about to be put in. (Jared is mainly doing this all himself I'm just helping out where I can.) After that we are finally upgrading our bed from a full size to king size. I cannot wait!!! New nightstands, new rug and then I think we're done. Would you guys be interested in seeing a post on this renovation? Let me know. So this purchase goes back to my 40th birthday. It actually goes even further back, fall of last year when I first saw them pop up on Rothy's website. I fell in love immediately with the Golden Gingham . At the time I thought, I've got no where to go wearing these pretty shoes so I put them off to the back of my wishlist. My first pair of Mary Jane's was purchased February of 2020 and I loved wearing them

Fit Review! Rothy's Lace Up & The Point in Night Metallic

Just like that it is February! I love a nice pair of sneakers. When I'm not at the office I pretty much live in sneakers. Usually they're Allbirds or Merrell's but I've been eyeing Rothy's Lace Ups for quite awhile now.  For  reference I wear a size 5 in Rothy's  The Point and Mary Jane's .  The Lace Up Golden Metallic  Size 5 Enjoy $20 off your first purchase with code  WELCOME20 . While I love the idea of a pair of white sneakers, I know I could never keep them clean which is why I chose the Golden Metallic Lace Ups . It's an off white- almost a bit creamy with gold stitch accents and color blocking on the body.  Fit is true to size. I wear a size 5 in all Rothy's shoes and this is no different. These are meant to be worn barefoot or with thin socks. If you're in between sizes definitely size up as these only come in whole sizes.  There's the signature blue halo across the back of the heel that is on every Rothy's shoe. It's h
