Fit Review! Anthropologie Maeve Seahorse Cardigan Sweater

How does the weekend always go by so fast? Well, last weekend I went to Avalon and stopped by Anthropologie. For those who don't know, I used to LOVE shopping at Anthro before I found Lululemon. Around 2014-2015 is when my love for Anthro slowly switched over to Lulu. Walking into Anthro, I was mostly disappointed by their offerings on display. But then this beautiful cardigan caught my eye. I pretty much knew I had to have it. I took some photos in the fitting room, but it didn't do this piece any justice. I brought it home and took some photos where I could show it off properly. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size XS/PXS in Anthropologie and size 4 in Lululemon tops. Anthropologie Maeve Seahorse Cardigan Sweater Size XS This Seahorse Cardigan is just adorable. I love the navy/white nautical theme which is perfect for a summer night out at the beach. I'm wearing size XS and it fits slightly oversized but not too much. I do have the sleeves ...

Fit Review! Anthropologie- Cambridge Knit Blazer & The Essential Cropped Flare Pant

How is everyone doing? Due to the coronavirus, the entire company I work for is working from home this week as a "test week". Chances are we will probably have to continue working from home for a longer period of time. My husband is going stir crazy. Meanwhile I'm fine with staying indoors. It's like a staycation to me.  This shopping excursion took place a couple of weekends ago when everything wasn't so scary out in the world. I went to Anthropologie for some new work clothes. I wanted to pick up a new blazer and a pair of pants.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically a size XS in Anthropologie. I'm usually a size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms. By the way, the lighting in Anthropologie was very dark and yellow, so the photos look a little too warm. I tried to adjust some of them. Some came out okay, others are still too warm like the one below. Cambridge Knit Blazer Size XS The Essential Cropped Flare Pant Size XS...

Top 14 Bomber Jackets!

Ever since Lululemon released their Non Stop Bomber Jacket , I've been obsessed with finding the perfect one. I wanted to see what other options there were from other brands before I pulled the trigger. I literally spent a whole day looking at hundreds of different bomber jackets. This is my curated list of bomber jackets narrowed down to my top fourteen. Non Stop Bomber Jacket Reversible $128 Now before I start, here is a little bit of information about the bomber jacket. These jackets were originally worn by military pilots. Back in World War I the pilots needed something to keep them warm while flying, since airplanes back then were not yet enclosed. Remember that? Eventually, it became popular to wear as everyday apparel. I know that a bomber jacket is a trend. How do I know this? Because I wore one when I was in high school except we called them flight jackets. Mine was black and silky with an orange lining. I pretty much wore it to death. So, given that this is a tre...

Fit Review Friday! Vinyasa Scarf Braided, Wunder Under Crop Hi-Rise, Sun Runner Crop, True Self Bra, Trapeze Twist Tank, Zara & Anthropologie!

TGIF everyone!  Tonight I'm heading to Lakewood Amphitheater to see The Cure!  It's my favorite band ever and probably my 15th time seeing them live.   Anyway, yesterday I went to Lululemon to check out some new items.  I saw the new braided Vinyasa Scarf .  I didn't try it on, but from the looks of it on the counter I wasn't that impressed with it.   I did try on the Wunder Under Crop Hi-Rise in the space dye seal gray.  I actually really liked how it felt but the hi rise is just too high on me.  The waist covers up my belly button.  If it came in the regular mid rise version, I would probably consider it.   For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and take a size 4 in most bottoms and tops in Lululemon. Wunder Under Crop Hi-Rise Space Dye Seal Gray in Size 4 One thing to note, the ankles totally bagged out on me so I have them folded up.  I would have to get these hemmed about 4 inches or so to have them f...

Fit Review Friday! Swiftly Racerback, Speed Shorts, High Times Pant & Anthropologie Surprise!

The Lululemon near me really needs to get more product in.  I was hoping to try on Run With The Sun Crop but none in my size.   They still do not have any of the new Define Jackets from the last few weeks.  Hash tag Firstworldproblems! So instead I tried on the new Speed Short in pop cut fatigue and the Swiftly Racerback in heathered desert olive.  The tank totally washed me out.  I thought it was too plain looking on me.  I took my usual size 4 in both pieces. Swiftly Racerback in Heathered Desert Olive and Speed Short in Pop Cut Fatigue  I liked the Speed Short a little more but not enough to pick it up either.  I want something that totally screams "OMG you have to BUY THIS!" I've also been eying the High Times Pant in space dye camo seal grey.  I have a pair in heathered bordeaux that I constantly wear all the time.  I was hoping I would feel the same about this pair, but I just can't get over how the ...
