Most Durable Bags in My Collection

It's officially summer! I was tagged by another handbag enthusiast to share which bags are the most durable in my collection. It made me think what exactly does durable mean in the handbag world? The two things that I would consider if a bag is durable would be a vintage bag that has held up well with considerable use and at the same time holding its value. I know some will say, but I don't want a pre-owned bag, I like to buy brand new. I'll also include two bags in my list that you can still buy brand new today. Chloe Paddington Let's start with the Paddington bag. This bag is 20 years old! Say what you want about the Paddington bag, but it was the "It" bag in the mid 2000s and now it's been given a new makeover with the re-issue. However the vintage OG is the way to go. Having the original will always be a flex. These retailed for $1400 or so back in the day and you can still fetch a vintage one around $1000 today. If you're ever interested to ...

My Best Purchases So Far in 2026

Happy Friday! I want to use this post to check in with everyone. We're just about halfway through 2026 which is CRAZY. In January when I wrote about my 2026 goals, one of my goals is to only purchase 24 items this year. And it is turning out to be way harder than I thought it would be. Going through my excel spreadsheet, I have purchased 5 bottoms, 3 jackets, 13 tops- for a total of 21 items so far. Which isn't great considering I still have 6 months to go! 😳 NGL I'm starting to panic a little bit. 😅 Apparently Banana Republic has taken Lululemon's place for me. Eleven items out of 21 have been Banana Republic. The rest are Athleta. 😂 Here are my favorite items so far in 2026. This list also includes items that are not clothing related and items that I have not yet reviewed. Since it is hot and humid, of course a lot of linen is being worn all the time, like almost every day. When it wasn't as hot I was wearing Banana Republic's Oversized Linen Shirt a lot. I...

New Releases Week of June 16th 2026

Nothing for me today! I am so bored of clothing lately that it's hard for me to find anything that I'm interested enough to buy. I think I'm going to wait for fall clothes. Summer items are usually the same styles and colors every year. I did pick up some more linen pieces and some t-shirts but there's not much else I need for summer. I'm ready for fall. 😂 Let me know if anything caught your eye this week. Review! Shinola Bixby Crossbody Bag

I'm finally getting around to reviewing the Shinola Bixby Crossbody bag. The leather is insanely soft for the affordable price of $495. I was shocked at how close it felt to my $5000 Louis Vuitton Millesime Speedy. 😮 You'll want to see the comparison between Shinola's leather to Louis Vuitton's Millesime Speedy in my video.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. This bag can be worn two ways. It's mainly marketed as a crossbody bag, but the shoulder strap is completely adjustable. The strap drop ranges from 8 inches to 25 inches. The style resembles a saddle bag, similar to The Row's Izzy Bag that retails for $2490  and  Celine's Triomphe Bag .  Celine's Triomphe Bag (I actually prefer the Shinola bag more.) Bixby Crossbody Bag The standout difference from the Shinola and the luxury brands is the accordion style design. This allows the bag to expand slightly. The volume of the bag is about 4 liters. The shoulder strap is at a nice width and do...
