Petite Impact

  Happy Friday! I'm loving Athleta's new fall shade Nocturnal. It's such a pretty purple with reddish brown undertones. I placed an order for the Allure Long Jacket and Forever Fleece Classic Zip which has an updated fit.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size PXS or XS in Athleta. I also wear size 4/6 or XS/S in Lululemon. Allure Long Jacket Nocturnal Size PXS I love the feel of the fabric. It's super soft and medium weight. It's not a heavy jacket. It would make a great transition piece. I'm wearing size petite XS and the sleeves are still slightly too long for me and I have them cuffed.  I think it looks best left open. There's a bit too much fabric on my frame when I have it belted. Kind of looks like a robe on me.  One thing I wasn't a fan of is how the back of the jacket looks. I think it would have been slightly more flattering if they added a vent in the back. The belt is not removable which is a deal breaker for me...

 Athleta has some cute items from their Form Knit line that looks very nice. I'll check my Athleta store to see if they have any of it to try-on. Also interested in the Barrel Leg pant from Lululemon since they have a short length, finally! Also excited for the Fount Cherry drop coming Friday. Lately I've been browsing Alo since they recently opened a store near me. I've looked at their bags and clothing but nothing has piqued my interest enough to try until I spotted the Sunset sneaker. Low profile sneakers are somewhat trending at the moment. I like the retro look and I've been wanting to add a pair of low profile sneakers to my rotation.  For reference my shoe size is typically size 5.5.  The sales rep that helped me at the Alo store was fantastic. She was super fun and friendly to talk to. Turns out she just moved from New York and we started talking about the things we missed from New York like public transportation that actually took you somewhere, to being able to walk everywhere and of course the food!
