Fit Review Friday! Lululemon Beyondfeel Running Shoe

Happy Friday! I've been eyeing Lululemon's Beyondfeel Running Shoe for quite a while now. I originally wanted these in the Vapor/Antique White/Red Glow colorway but my size sold out pretty quickly. Then after weeks of hoping there would be a restock, I stumbled on Twilight Rose, which I'm sure someone had returned. And thanks to LZ who spoke highly of these shoes, which made me finally pull the trigger on a pair.

For reference I purchased these in size 5.5 and I typically wear 5.5 in Allbirds.

Twilight Rose Size 5.5
(color is currently sold out)

First off, these look really nice out of the box. Love the color. It's a dark rose shade with purple undertones which is right up my alley. They look and also feel high quality in my hands. The laces are very soft and kind of smooshy.

My feet tend to run hot, so I am glad these have an upper mesh for ventilation. When I was walking around outside in nearly 100 degree weather for 12,000 steps my feet still felt hot but it wasn't unbearable.

This running shoe has a lot of cushion which I personally love. I'm wearing my usual size 5.5 which is the same size I wear in most of my Allbirds. The toe box does not feel cramped or tight and I have slightly wider than average width feet. I'm actually very surprised at how comfortable these are. I've tried a few pairs of Lululemon shoes and these so far are my favorite.

They're great for longer walks and I also took these out for a run. Just a mile or so to test them out and they really made me feel like I was running on clouds. The strides were just so smooth, it felt effortless. Granted I was running on a treadmill, but still, I was impressed! Normally my feet feel heavy, especially when I first start out on a jog, but I felt very light and fast that day. I've only had these for a week and a half, so I have to go on more runs, just to make sure it wasn't a fluke.

I would 100% buy another pair of these shoes in another color. These feel way better than most of my Allbirds at the moment. I'm still hoping my size gets restocked in the Vapor/Antique White/Red Glow colorway. Maybe someone will return a pair. 😅

That's it for me! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Thanks for another great review, Leslie!

I'm thinking of trying the Beyondfeel Running Shoes but just not interested in any of the colors available on the Canadian site. I did consider getting them in Light Vapor/Light Vapor/Silver Drop but they will get dirty in no time! Wish we had Twilight Rose which is stunning!

  2. Oh, I'm happy to hear you like them! Almost every other shoe hurts my feet after a few hours, but these are the exception. The Twilight Rose is really pretty!

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
