Fit Review! J.Crew Cecile Relaxed Sweater Blazer & Vintage Fendi Baguette

It's February 28th! That means we made it through our no buy/low buy month! Congrats to those who joined me in this challenge. I have to say, it wasn't that bad this time around. The only thing I really wanted to try was the Nulu Cropped Define Jacket  in Silver Blue. It's currently sold out in my size but I will definitely be checking for restocks or new colors. I do have a shopping cart filled with items for fit reviews. There's also a couple of things I want to try from Athleta as well. The Salutation Stash Pocket Short 5 " looks to be a nice Align Short alternative since Lululemon can't keep up with the demand. I also managed to pull out 15 items from my closet to sell on my  Poshmark  account. I hoped to let go more pieces than that but I'll still take it as a win.  In other news, my company just moved into a new building in Midtown Atlanta. This has been in the works for a little while now and the first day of business is March 7th. I've been w...

Fit Review! J.Crew Eloise Sweater Blazer

Is it Monday already? Do you guys remember  J.Crew's Sophie Sweater Blazer I love so much I pretty much bought them in all the colors? It looks like J.Crew may be phasing it out and replacing it with the new  Eloise Sweater Blazer . I had to try it and see how it compares to the Sophie. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size XXS or PXS in J.Crew. I also wear size 4 in Lululemon tops. Eloise Sweater Blazer Heather Walnut Size XXS The first thing I noticed is the thinner fabric. This may not be a bad thing because the Sophie Blazer is on the heavier side and more suitable for chilly temperatures. The  Eloise  may be a piece that's easier to wear all year round. The second thing I noticed right away are the longer sleeves. I actually have them cuffed up a couple of inches. This might be an improvement depending on your preference as the sleeves on the Sophie are 7/8 lengths. The collar has been updated with rounded lapels. As for the

Fit Review Friday! J.Crew Cotton Cashmere Pullover Sweatshirt & V-Neck Cardigan

Happy Friday! I'm closing in on my first week of shopping my closet. So far I am enjoying the process. I'm putting most of my focus on what doesn't work for me anymore and seeing if I can give it away, donate or sell it. It's a slow process, and it's day by day. Here is a fit review that I've been sitting on for awhile. I am loving cotton-cashmere right now. I find it to be a lot easier to wear than my pure cashmere pieces. It's also easier to care for as well. J.Crew has released some really high quality and soft cotton cashmere pieces at an affordable price. They're currently on sale! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and wear size PXS or XXS in J.Crew. Cotton Cashmere Pullover Sweatshirt Black Size XXS Since purchasing this  Cotton Cashmere Pullover Sweatshirt  in black, J.Crew has released more colors. I'm currently eyeing it in the Heather Caramel color. I think it looks very rich and warm for fall. I may pull the trigger on it once I...

Fit Review- J.Crew Ribbed Cotton Cashmere Hoodie and Jogger Pant

How is it already Monday again? The weekend went by way too fast for me. I know it's summer and everyone is wearing shorts and tank tops, but somehow I'm still wearing my joggers and hoodies. I guess it's become my "safety blanket" during the pandemic. Especially when I'm just hanging out at home. Plus, J.Crew's cotton-cashmere line has really impressed me so I wanted to try another matching set.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size XXS in J.Crew. I'm usually a size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.  Ribbed Cotton-Cashmere Hoodie Navy Size XXS How cute is this set? Some may recall my Heather Gray cotton-cashmere set from a couple of months ago,  and I really loved wearing it so much I wanted to get another set in navy. The  Ribbed Cotton-Cashmere Hoodie  caught my eye. It's an oversized fit which is why I went with size XXS but I also think the XXXS would have worked too. The sleeves are long and very wide, there ...

Fit Review Friday! J.Crew Fall Blazers

Happy Friday everyone! I can't believe it's already the 7th of September. This year is flying by. I mean wasn't it just January? I am happy that fall is coming. It's my favorite time of the year and it's when I spend probably the most money on clothing. It's a good thing I went on a ban last month. So I couldn't wait to share with you photos from my J.Crew  order.  Right now J.Crew is offering 40% off your purchase with code FALLTIME . For reference I'm 4 feet 11.  J.Crew Regent Blazer Navy Petite 2 I really love this Regent Blazer in navy. In this blazer I'm wearing a size petite 2. I would say this is true to size. My bra size is a 32A and this fits me very well with a little bit of room to spare. I don't like to feel restricted in the shoulders and arms. Sleeve length is perfect. This blazer is made of soft wool flannel and happy to report it is not itchy at all. The popped collar can be turned down which ...
