New Releases Week of October 27th 2026

I'm surprised there was a decent drop today. I am wondering if they pushed it up a week because of midterms next Tuesday. 🤔 Either way, I really like Blue Nuit and Cranberry Brown! Very pretty colors. Nothing for me this week! Trying to stay strong for the next four days. But since it's been fairly easy not buying anything this month I may try and ride it out for as long as I can. 😅

I also browsed some cardigans at Free People and Anthropologie. I am shocked at how expensive cardigans have gotten. 🙀 Let me know in the comments if anything caught your eye this week!

(They look so good in this color.)

(I do like this color a lot in this hoodie, but it also looks pretty basic?)

Free People Cardigans
When did they get so expensive??

(This is definitely Anthropologie vibes from back in the day!)

(This one is my favorite one so far, so beautiful but $400?!!)
😬

Since I browsed at FP, I had to check Anthro out too.

(When did cardigans start at $400 and up?!
AND it's almost sold out!)

(This is $600 and almost sold out. Unbelievable!
I feel like I am missing something here lol.)

  1. Very nice colors in today's drop! I like Bleu Nuit, Cranberry Brown, and Fuschia Taffy Tone. Hopefully something I find intriguing gets released in those colors.

I received my Athleta order today. The Forever Fleece Track Jacket might be going back. I ordered an xxs regular instead of petite, and it still feels a little short to me. The sleeve length is pretty good in the regular, which was surprising. The fleece just doesn't feel all that nice, in my opinion. It's kind of stiff. The Bordeaux color is gorgeous though. It reminds me of Lulu's Black Plum.

The Transcend V-Neck Tee is lovely. The fabric is soft and stretchy, but it doesn't feel overly thin. The length is great - it hits just below my hips. It's quite form-fitting, so sizing up might be a good idea if you don't want it too tight. I really like the weird v-shaped neckline. I hope they release some more colors in this style.

And what is up with the price of those cardigans??? You could get a decent leather jacket for $400! No way I would pay that for a sweater. I can't believe some of them are sold out!

    1. Are they trying to compete with fabrics like the Varley double soft or whatever it’s called?

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
