Fit Review! Athleta Studio Jogger

Another weekend over. They still seem to go by just as fast even though I'm pretty much home all the time now. I finally broke out my water color supplies and started on a painting. I'm not finished yet so I'll hold off from posting until it's done.

Today I have for you a review of Athleta's Studio Joggers

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and typically a size PXS in Athleta bottoms and a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms.

I don't know about you but I've been living in my Ugg slippers for about 3 weeks now. 😆 Let's be realistic. This is a typical work from home outfit for me. 😂 And no more face shots until I get a haircut, which may not be for many months.

Back to the fit review, I'm wearing size PXS in these joggers. They run a little large. There's too much fabric around the pant leg. I wish it was cut a little slimmer. Actually, if these came in PXXS, I think it would work much better for me. The fold over waist band is super comfortable and I really love how the fabric feels buttery soft.

They're just a bit too baggy on me.

I  like that it has pockets, although they are small pockets. I'm not sure if you could really fit anything in them besides maybe small hands. In the end I decided to return these even though they're super comfy. There's just too much excess fabric for my liking. That said it would probably work well on someone who is just a bit taller than me. These are great lounge pants if you're looking for more stay at home clothes.

In other news, I received my giant Lululemon order today. I'll try my best to take some photos during the week so I can have something for Friday's fit review post! That's it for me. Stay safe everyone.

  1. I actually like how it looks on you! Super comfy and it’s okay to look a bit baggy in my opinion. I would’ve bought a couple pairs if they have Althleta in Canada ...

I’ve been drawing and painting a lot lately, Very therapeutic and makes me happy. Can’t wait to see your painting. :)

Haven’t ordered any clothings online since March. Tempted to order the Hooded Define Jacket in Diamond Dye but never pulled the trigger. Really looking forward to reading your fit review this Friday.

    Take care and stay safe.

    2. Can’t wait to see what you think of the Hooded Define Jacket in diamond dye! I purchased mine In the darker shade a couple of weeks ago and really like it.

Hope you and your family are healthy and well! :)

  2. I love them. They remind me of Lululemon's Om Pant that I've been waiting patiently for years for them to release again.

    1. I've never had the Om Pant. I would love for them to release something similar again, so I can try it.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
