Best Purchases of 2025!

I've been sick all weekend and I started to feel a little bit better, just in time for a full week of work. 😖 It's hard to believe 2025 is over. As I looked back at my long list of purchases over the year, here are the standout pieces that I really enjoyed and added value to my life. I also included the links and my review to each item. In no particular order, here we go!

I bought these joggers back in January 2025 and they are very thick and warm. I've worn them a lot this fall/winter season so far. I kind of wish I bought another pair! I believe Athleta has renamed these joggers and changed the rise as Forever Fleece HR Jogger. They are currently 30% off.

I use this mask every night after I shower. Sometimes I'll use it in the morning too if I have the time. It's only 3 minutes per session. I find it super relaxing. Check out my review for the before and after pic!

If you love nail polish, check out Mooncat. It's a small business and woman-owned. I've been wearing nail polish for a long time and this particular color is magnetic and so sooooo beautiful. It's magical! This one wins favorite polish of the year.

I haven't bought much from Vuori in 2025. I took a chance on this hoodie when it went on sale for $79, not thinking it would become my favorite Vuori hoodie, but I ended up wearing it almost everyday during the summer. It's lightweight and a great layer when stuck inside frigid air conditioning.

This is probably my most surprising best purchase of 2025. I was not expecting this pair of Lululemon shoes to become my new favorite shoe, but here we are. Super comfortable for everyday walking and they're also great for running. Love them so much, I now have two pairs.

This was such a game changer for my skincare routine (besides the LED mask). It hydrates my skin so well I almost feel like I can go without my moisturizer. This serum with my moisturizer makes my skin feel baby soft. I'm very disappointed that it's being discontinued and so hard to find now. I'll have to look for a replacement in 2026.

Fount is a new brand for me and I never heard of them until they opened up a store in Avalon. Once I felt the leather on this bag, I fell in love. This is my first Fount bag, and definitely not my last! This is a great everyday carry.

Go Forth Goods is my favorite discovery of 2025. The Hoffman and Florence bags are my favorite styles from them. Each bag is made to order and customizable. Being able to customize your bag really drew me in. This is another small business and they are hand made in Georgia! I'll have more reviews from this brand coming soon.

I'm a sucker for waffle hoodies and this is easily my favorite hoodie of the year. It's super soft and so comfortable. Even Jared really likes it! He says he wishes they made one for men. 😂

My love for Banana Republic is back! They really hit it out of the park this year. I bought three jackets from them in 2025 and very happy to see that they have brought back the quality and heritage style that they were known for back in the 90s and 2000s. My favorite item from Banana Republic is this distressed leather jacket. I'm excited to see what they offer in 2026!

I love these joggers so much, I now have three pairs. I was wearing them almost daily in the fall. So comfortable and they're available in petite sizing. They're currently 40% off!

Definitely a must have pair of slippers. I've been wearing these everyday since I bought them. Still super comfortable and I hope they will last me a couple more years. Worth every penny!

Most Disappointing Purchase

This bag is definitely my most disappointing purchase of the year. After hearing so much hype from other reviewers, I was expecting high quality. It looks way better in photos than it does in real life.

And that is it for me! Keeping it short and sweet. Let me know what was your favorite purchases of 2025? Did any of mine coincide with yours?

  1. Thanks for sharing your best purchases of 2025 with us, Leslie.

While I haven’t spent too much money at LLL last year, my most loved items purchased were actually all from LLL - the Beyondfeel Waterproof Running Shoes in Riverstone, the Fast track Bag 2.0 (I love it so much that I ended up getting it in three colors at WMTM) as well as my fourth Wunder Puff 600 Down Filled Jacket in gorgeous Twig. You probably noticed that if I like something, I would get it in multiple colors. @_@‘

Thanks for your recommendation, I gave the Beyondfeel Waterproof Running Shoes a try. Since the toe box is kind of narrow, I had a hard time deciding whether or not to size up. I ended up sticking with my regular size and once I got used to the fitting, the shoes are extremely comfortable. Riverstone is such a pretty neutral color, and the fact that the shoes are waterproof is a bonus.

I never thought I would love the Fast Track Bag 2.0 cos I’m neither a backpack fan nor a lover of sling bags. I played around with the removable straps and turned the bag into a crossbody bag which is both cute and functional. I love the small zipped pocket in the back which I can keep my card case and cell phone close to my body. The main compartment is huge and I just throw everything inside (a pair of glasses, my sunglasses, a 500L water bottle, winter hat and gloves etc) still with lots of extra room to spare. This bag is truly a hidden gem.

I wasn’t planning to buy another Wunder Puff Jacket but Twig is even prettier in person. I keep telling myself that I’m living in Canada so it’s okay to have another winter jacket. :D

I’m joining you in No Buy January and hope it’ll be a good start to 2026.

    1. Hi Andrea! You really love your Wunder Puff Jackets! I love the color Twig too, so I don't blame you for getting another!

Glad you also love the Beyondfeel shoes! Would you get another pair in the non waterproof version?

Happy the Fast Track bag works out for you. And thanks for joining me in the No-Buy January!

    2. Hi Leslie,
I wonder if the non waterproof version of the Beyondfeel Running Shoes has a softer feel and might give it a try if a nice color comes out.

  2. My favourite purchase of yours is definitely the BR aviator jacket!

This year my favourite purchases are sherling slippers, cargo sweats from Aritzia, and possibly a Bellroy sling. Visually a pair of HOKA shoes in wide was not my favorite, but it did resolve some foot pain I had this year.

    1. Thanks AC! I really love that jacket. I've already worn it about a dozen times. I really wish HOKA had better designs. The pair I bought is all white because I didn't like the giant logo and the white seemed to camouflaged it the best.

  3. That Athleta waffle set is my favorite on you. My top 3 favorite buys were all Quince! The Stretch High Rise Patch Pocket Wide Leg Jeans in black (sooo comfortable and cute!) 100% Organic Cotton Fisherman Boxy Cropped Cardigan in Ivory (versatile) Second Skin Crossover Bralette (doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything!)

    1. Thank you! The waffle set is very comfy. I only have the jogger though.

I really like the Cotton Fisherman Boxy Cropped Cardigan. I like it in the speckled beige. maybe I'll give it a try when my no-buy is over! Can't beat the price that's for sure.

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
