Fit Review Friday! Vuori Halo Modern Full Zip and Villa Cargo Jogger

Happy Friday! I've been dying to try Vuori's Villa Cargo Jogger for a while and finally got around to it. Let's find out if it's a keeper or did I return it?

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size XS in Vuori tops and bottoms.

First, we have the Halo Modern Full Zip Hoodie in Cosmic Heather. I'm such a sucker for heathered purples and this does not disappoint. I'm wearing my usual size XS and it's roomy but still flattering and very petite friendly.

The sleeve length is a bit long on me, but nothing to really complain about. The fabric feels the same as all of my Performance Joggers. If you prefer the Halo Performance Hoodie 2.0 instead, it is also on sale for $78!

This hoodie is on the thinner side, and makes a great layer for summer nights or air conditioned stores. I know I'll be wearing this a lot!

I know you're all waiting to hear about the Villa Cargo Jogger! These are a great length for petites, measuring 26 inches long. They are full length on me which is perfect. The pant leg is on the baggier side but suits the cargo style.

The fabric feels similar to Athleta's Featherweight Stretch and funny enough, Athleta Girl has a very similar pair for $65! They have a couple of colors on sale for $32.97! This is wild.

Fabric is very thin, perfect for summer and feels silky, but the waistband feels more rough because of the ruching. I was a little disappointed with the inside of the waistband was not lined with something softer. For $118, I expect something a little more luxe.

I'm wearing my usual size XS and it fit well in the waist. In the end, I decided to return these. I couldn't stomach the price difference from Athleta's version, considering the quality and feel are very similar. 😞
That is it for me! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Check out Lululemon's WMTM Update, it's a pretty decent one!

(I have this in Taupetastic and it's such a comfy tank! I went with size 6. Very tempted to get more.)

  1. I'm glad you like the hoodie! I've been wearing mine almost every day since I got it :).

Too bad about the Villa Cargo Joggers. There isn't very much to choose from in shorter inseams from Vuori lately. I didn't realize what the fabric was like until your review. I'm not a huge fan of that kind of fabric. If Athleta can offer similar styles for way cheaper, it makes total sense not to keep the Vuori.

    1. Hi Lola! I agree completely. Seems like Vuori and Lulu just refuse to offer petites many options. Their loss! We will just shop elsewhere. Featherlight just doesn't justify the $118 price tag. It's a no for me!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
