Fit Review Friday! Banana Republic Boyfriend Cashmere Cardigan

Happy Friday! It definitely feels like winter is here. It's been so cold I've been wearing my cashmere on a daily basis. Every fall/winter I add at least one new piece of cashmere to my wardrobe. In the past my go to cashmere was always Naked Cashmere (NC), but this season nothing at NC caught my eye. I decided to try Banana Republic's Boyfriend Cashmere Cardigan.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size XXS/PXS in Banana Republic. I also wear size PXS in Athleta and 4/6 or XS/S in Lululemon.

I'm wearing size XXS and it is slightly oversized but still flattering on my petite frame. The sleeves are long, however they don't get in the way for the most part. I just push them up or cuff them up once.

The length covers my assets and I love the patch pockets and ribbed detail on the trim. I normally don't go for green but Heather Green actually goes well with my wardrobe these days. I'm also wearing my Athleta Tranquil Mid Rise Jogger in Chocolate Brown Heather and it surprisingly works. By the way, the Athleta Tranquil MR Joggers are my new favorite bottoms. I love the slouchy drape. I have them in three colors. 😅

This cardigan is made of 100% cashmere and it isn't itchy at all. It is quite soft and feels about mid-weight. It retails for $300 which I find a little too high, I did get it for 30% off and used some rewards on top which brought it down to $180 which I think is a much better price for it. I've been wearing it to the office and it's a nice layer that keeps me warm. I would consider getting this in another color. I was eyeing it in brown, but it's currently sold out in my size. 😕

This cashmere cardigan can be dressed up or down. I really like how I can make it work for the office and on my lounge/weekend days as well. That's all for me, hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos. The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off - $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.
