Fit Review Friday! Vuori Sunnyside Crew, Daily Jogger, Performance Jogger, Halo Performance Short

Happy Friday! My hair is still a wreck but I do have some good news on that front. I'll be fully vaccinated in a couple of weeks and booked an appointment for a haircut! It will be my first haircut in over a year. I can't wait is an understatement. Today I have for you guys a Vuori fit review! Vuori has been my go to for joggers as many of you know. I decided to check out some of their other items.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically size XS or XXS in Vuori. I'm also a size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.

This pullover arrived extremely wrinkly. The fabric is organic cotton French terry and feels very soft, much softer than Lululemon's cotton terry. I'm wearing size XS. I'm pretty sure I could have sized down in this to XXS but the one thing I did not like is how small the neck opening is. The pullover is very wide and boxy as well, which I wasn't expecting based on the photos from the website. The Dolman sleeves also add to the oversized fit and look. I really love the color Natural paired with the Kelp Heather Halo Performance Short. Kelp Heather would also look great with my Soft Ambitions Crop Crew in Heathered Beech Wood. I have more photos of the shorts in my last fit review in case you missed it. The shorts in Kelp Heather are currently sold out from the Vuori website, but it's available from REI which I will link at the bottom of the post.

The neckline is also a little wavy which I didn't love. I prefer it to lay flat. Not sure if it's just an off piece because the photos of it lay flat on the website. I ended up returning this pullover but would absolutely try anything in this organic cotton French Terry fabric! The Halo Performance Short is absolutely amazing. I tried this on last year but returned it because of the uneven lengths but have been meaning to try them again just because of how soft they are. They are made of the same Dream knit fabric as the Performance Jogger and you all know how much I love those. I think I'm on my 5th pair now. The shorts are mid-rise with no liner. The length is 2.25 inches but I honestly do not feel like they are that short on me. I'm waiting for Vuori to restock these in Burnt Clay Heather. I would love these in pink! For a more detailed review, see my post from last year.

#FlexFriday!
(Actually, that's a lie, I wasn't really flexing. I'm actually impressed with myself. 😆)

I wanted to try another jogger style to see if I would like it more than the Performance Jogger. This jogger is much more fitted throughout the hip and thigh. The fabric is also different. It reminds me of Swift fabric but brushed. It does attract pet hair which is something I definitely can't have in my life! You know with 😺😺😺😺 and all. The waistband has a drawstring for a customized fit. I personally prefer the waistband of the Performance Jogger.

Length wise these measure 26 inches long. The style reminds me of the Align Joggers the most but with brushed Swift fabric and a drawstring waist. I find these to be more petite friendly than the Align Joggers.

Last but not least, my favorite jogger ever! The Performance Jogger. These are my favorite joggers hands down. I won't get into a lot of detail here since I've reviewed them so many times before. Feel free to check out my previous reviews. I'm wearing size XXS. I can also wear size XS as well depending on how I want them to look. Here are some photos of them in Pale Heather Camo. The length is 25 inches which is my preferred length.

That's it for me! Hope you all have an amazing weekend! See you all in May.

  1. Thanks for the review and I love how the Performance Jogger looks on you! The Daily Jogger doesn’t look as comfy and the fitting is a tad tight. I much prefer mid-rise bottoms and most of Lululemon’s new joggers come with hi-rise. I really wish they will bring back their On the Fly line in the near future.

I got lucky and received an On my Level Bag Micro 5L Ice Dye from my sister. I thought of getting it but wasn’t sure if it would be too small. It actually holds as many stuff as my Festival Bag (both 5L), and the strap is extendable (unlike the larger versions) which makes it more flexible. The print is super pretty and in my favorite black/grey tone! If it had a snap closure at the top, the bag would’ve been perfect.

    1. Yes I love the OTF line myself. I have a bunch of their shorts and ankle pants. I also prefer the mid-rise as well.

I've always wanted to try the On My Level Bag in that size too. The pattern is very pretty. Lucky you to have such a nice sister! No snap? I would have preferred that too over the drawstring. Still, I wouldn't say no lol.

  2. Happy Friday, Leslie! Thanks for another great review! I agree that the pullover is too wide and is an easy pass. I like how both joggers look on you. I love the Performance jogger as well, but have only seen black and the darker camo in Canada. I hope we'll get more colour options soon! Have a great weekend!

    1. Hi Karen! I'm glad you guys at least have access to Vuori in Canada. Hopefully they will expand their selections. Definitely try their joggers. I live in them.

  3. They just restocked a bunch of joggers in xxs! :D Whenever I order I'll use your code!
I bought a bunch of stuff on WMTM this week. I got the in alignment bra in lavender because you rave about it, align shorts in rosemary green, and track that high rise 3" in waterdrop! :D

    1. Woo hoo! Thanks for that! I still want to try the Harem Pant. I think that will be in my next Vuori order.

Let me know what you think of the In Alignment Bra, I hope you like it. It's tight at first but it does stretch. I am waiting for more tidewater teal. I love that color. Hopefully it will arrive int he Align Short.

We tried HelloFresh for the past two months - Here's our review

Hi everyone! This post is written by my husband. Some of you may know he does all the cooking around here. 😅 We noticed we were spending a lot of money on food and eating out every month and wanted to see if a meal kit service would save us money and time. After looking at a few meal kit services we settled on HelloFresh. Without further ado, here's Jared's review. (Original post date Aug 2022). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As you may have seen from Leslie's Instagram stories for the past 2 months, we've been using HelloFresh for most of our meals. The main drivers for this were to better track what we eat and because on the advice of my doctor, I should be eating more home cooked meals. Before I go any further, it should be noted that my original career path was in culinary arts, but twists and turns in life changed that. So I do have formal cooking experience. A little background story. Over the years, I've developed

Review! Everywhere Belt Bag Extended Strap VS Everywhere Belt Bag Original

Happy May! Can't believe summer is right around the corner. I'm looking forward to visiting my family later this month. It's been nearly a year since I've been back to NYC. I'm already thinking about all the dim sum I'm going to cram in the 10 days I'm there! 😆  Today I have a review of the new  Everywhere Belt Bag Extended Strap  compared to the original  Everywhere Belt Bag  that is slowly being phased out. 😢  **** Update - The original Everywhere Belt Bag has been phased out completely.
