My Birthday Post!

Okay, so it's not my birthday... yet, but it's coming up on the 6th and that night I'll be posting my fit review Friday for you all! So my birthday post comes first. Not to worry I am taking a couple of days off from work and I'll have a nice four day weekend to do what I please. I think I'm going go on a lil shopping trip! 😆

For those who have been following my blog for the past few years know that I usually do a Frugal February month and stick to a strict shopping ban. The past couple of months I've actually been very good about not spending like a crazy lady so I think I can skip the Frugal February this year and just keep up the good work I've been doing! My bank account is actually looking decent. Lately I've been really trying to keep my spending in check. For January I only purchased three things. A wrap from Athleta, Vinyasa scarf and I managed to snag a very cute Coach bag on ebay. I'll have a review up on the bag soon.

This year is also the last year of my 30s... it kinda freaks me out a little bit if I let myself think about it. I remember when I turned 30, I was super depressed for a while. I am hoping it won't be as bad when I turn 40 next year. On that note, here is my current birthday wish and I hope my hubby is paying attention. 😜

I'm such a sucker for bags. Coach really has been making some very nice ones lately. I also don't know why I feel like I need so many bags either, but it's always been my weakness!

(I normally do not go for greens, but this one I think I will make an exception.)

(I got the chance to try this bag out from Rent The Runway and I really love it! Will have a review up soon.)

(I'm heading to the mall on Thursday so hopefully I can do a fitting room review.)

(Still can't get this one out of my head.)

 Have a great Monday!

  1. Happy early birthday! I just turned 38 myself a few days ago. I love that Coach Willis bag in the green color, it’s beautiful. I just purchased the Athleta Stay Fly pants and love them! Interested to see what your review is like for the windbreaker.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
