Best of 2019! A Year In Review

I always like to end the year with a round up of my favorite purchases. 2019 was the year of wraps and On The Fly bottoms. I was obsessed. They were great for the office and on the weekend so I couldn't help myself to adding five pairs to my wardrobe. Every year, Aligns, Speed Up Shorts always top my list as my go to pieces for working out along with Sculpt Tanks and Essential Tanks so I won't cover those. Without any further ado, here is my top 2019 purchases in no particular order. I'll also link my review posts for each item for reference.

Athleta Flurry Furry Jacket - kids version
(This fit better for me than the adult version.)

(Super warm and comfy!)

(Ended up buying night diver as well when it hit WMTM.)

(I loved this so much I bought it in black when it hit WMTM.)

(So comfy I want to pick up another one.)

(Super comfy and so easy to wear.)

(Fantastic for the office.)

(This is a great fall transitional piece.)

(These basically saved me all summer long.)

(This is a fun wrap to wear and always makes me happy.)

(One of the many pairs I now own.)

(The perfect summer wrap.)

Coach Rogue  - 50% off
(My favorite bag this whole year!)

(I love the Mizzles more than the originals!)

(These ended up being my favorite sandals for the summer.)

(I discovered this amazing exfoliator this year and with the cleanser- my skin has never felt cleaner.)

That wraps up my favorites for 2019. If you agree or disagree with any of these, let me know! I always love reading everyone's comments. It's one of the reasons I blog as much as I do. Thanks for reading and I hope everyone had an amazing year and if you didn't, here's to a better 2020!

  1. I love all the wraps you’ve got, even the Still Lotus Wrap which I wasn’t sure about the “collarless” design. They look nice even on your petite frame.

I am also obsessed with the On the Fly bottoms (I got three pairs in the 7/8 version with the flexibility of turning them into crops) and they are the most comfortable and versatile Lulu bottoms I’ve got so far.

Still tempted to get the Scuba Plush but no I don’t need another hoodie. :).

I’ve been good this year and haven’t spent too much at Lulu. The best purchase I would say was the Sincerely Sherpa Wrap. I can definitely dress it up or down.

Can’t believe we are only two days away from 2020. Time does fly!

Wishing you and your family a Happy New Year, and all the best in 2020!

    1. Ahh I wish the Sincerely Sherpa Wrap fit me better. I spent about the same this year on Lulu as I did last year. The wraps and OTF bottoms did me in. I didn't buy much workout gear though.

Wishing you a Happy New Year Andrea! Hugs!

  2. The lancer polish is amazing! I’m also a big fan of the kate Somerville exfolikate intensive exfoliating treatment. Aquareveal soft water peel is another super gentle exfoliator that I love!

    1. Yay! I have only recently started to use gentle exfoliators a few times a week. It really does wonders for my skin. I used to get a lot of dry patches.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
