Fit Review! Calm & Collected Wrap, Align Crop, Feeling Femme Short

Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! I mostly relaxed and spent time with my kitties. Binged the entire season one of Cobra Kai. It's a Youtube original series and sooooo good if you were a Karate Kid fan back in the 80s! Also finished up Jessica Jones. I am somewhat of a geek. Does anyone play games on their phones? I am totally addicted to the new Harry Potter game called Wizards Unite. As a huge Harry Potter fan this game is probably the closest thing to feeling like an actual wizard/witch.

I did manage to stop by a Lululemon store for some try ons. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and typically a size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.

I actually really really like this wrap. The fabric is a linen-blend that is very lightweight. It isn't the softest linen I've ever felt, so I'm not sure why it is $148. The cost is definitely off putting to me, but hey if I had the extra cash lying around, I would get it. I'm hoping it will eventually hit WMTM. The blue is so pretty and I can see it going with a lot of my summer wardrobe.

Very thin and somewhat see-though.

I'm wearing a size small and it looks oversized on me. Still cute in my opinion. I think a size extra small would also work as well for a more fitted look. I think this wrap is very cute and comfy. I approve, just not the price!

Also wearing On The Fly Short.

The store only had a size 2 in the Align Crop in red dust that are on WMTM right now. I tried them on anyway. The red dust color is soooo pretty that I went home and ordered them online. The length is long, but I will have them hemmed.

Lastly I grabbed the Feeling Femme Short to try on as per request. It's a cute short if you're looking for something that looks like a skirt. I'm wearing my usual size 4 and I would say it is true to size. The elastic waistband also includes a drawstring. Since the waistband is customizable I would say even though these are super high-rise, I had the waistband sit at my belly button and found it to be comfortable.

The length hits above the knee. I find it to be a cute length. Not too long and not too short on us petite gals. For the most part, I do find these to be flattering.

The Tencel fabric seems to be soft but looks like it wrinkles easily.

That's it for me! Here's to a happy Monday!

  1. I really like the calm and collected wrap on you! Such nice detail on the back. I saw it in the store, was very tempted to try it on, but it was kinda rough. Thanks for trying on the ffs- looks like you could have sized down? I try to stay away from tencel because it tends to wrinkle easily.

    1. The Feeling Femme Short does wrinkle easily. Not sure if I could have sized down because the waist fit. It was pretty big everywhere else though, but this look is meant to be casual.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
