Meet Ash & Simi!

I've been waiting for Ash & Simi to come home before I shared the good news on my blog. I wasn't 100% sure it was happening until last week. My husband and I still deeply miss Sherlock. His little urn arrived last week and when we transferred his ashes, the two of us just bawled. Sometimes I do think it's a little early for us to be adopting again, but at the same time I know we're giving two other kittens a home. This is Ash! Ash is a four month old bombay. He's super friendly and loves to play. He's been playing with all the new toys I got for them. Simi is a little shy and she's six months old. She was bottle fed by an 80 year old grandmother. I'm hoping with a bit of patience she will overcome some of her shyness. The two do play together but most of the time she seems happy to sit by the window. This is Simi! She also has these super cute toes. A little trivia, their names come from a book series I love. Dark Hunters by

Athleta Review! Studio Wrap Abyss & Pranayama Wrap Wild Raisin

Happy Friday everyone! I'm sooooo ready for the weekend. Saturday is going to be a big day! Here's my good news that I've been waiting to share, we are going to adopt two kittens from the shelter. We get to bring them home on Saturday!!! I'll have more photos and hopefully new names for them. It's a boy and a girl. Their current names are Beethoven and Suzy Q. Too cute but we will rename. Anyway! Back to my latest wrap purchases. I love wraps and wear them all the time. Practically everyday. I wear them at home, to work, and even when I go out on the weekends (once the weather gets a little bit warmer here). For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically wear a size PXS or XXS in Athleta. Pranayama Wrap in Wild Raisin XXS Love the deep purple which looks really nice against my skin tone. The fabric is super soft as expected. Fit is roomy even in size XXS. I wanted to try this in PXS but they did not have it in stock when I placed my order. Fro

Upload! April 3rd 2018

I can't believe it's already April! This week there's a few things that interest me. Wake Up & Go Sweater is calling my name. Just can't decide if I want to try starlight or graphite green. I think it looks best in starlight or black though. Now the question remains do I stick with my usual size 4 or size down? I also like the new Scuba Hoodie Sashiko. I can't decide between navy or gray nimbus.  Also added a few tanks to my cart. I'll sit on it for a bit before checking out. Did you get anything from this upload? Swiftly Tech T-Back Blue Glow Love Tank Cherry Dust (really pretty rose color) All You Do Tank Dusty Dawn Essential Tank Luon Pebbled Jacquard (I wouldn't mind getting another one of these tanks but not a fan of this color) Low Key Tank Heathered Black (I love this tank from last year! Glad it is back with more colors) Low Key Tank Persian Blue (I think I may get this color) Sculpt Tank Dazed (love t

Review J.Crew Lightweight Sweater Blazer

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Happy Easter to those who celebrate it. We had some friends visit from New York and ate way too much food. I'll have to write a post about it! J.Crew Sophie Lightweight Sweater Blazer Today I have for you the new J.Crew Sophie Lightweight Sweater Blazer. I have the fall winter version in 2 colors and decided to try the new version that's great for spring and air conditioned summer.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically a size PXS or XXS in sweaters/tops.  For this sweater blazer I'm wearing a size XXS. This sweater runs true to size in my opinion. I like the casual look of the sweater. If you want a more fitted look size down one size.  The question that I really wanted to know the answer to - is the sweater really thinner than the fall/winter version? The answer is - yes, but only ever so slightly. It's made out of cotton, polyester and wool. It's definitely very soft to touch

Store visit- Speed Up Short Memoir Green & Hotty Hot Short Memoir Purple

Happy Friday everybody! I have a short review for you all. Went to the store to check out the memoir prints in both colors. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically wear a size 4 in Lululemon Speed Up Shorts and a size 2 in Hotty Hot Shorts . Speed Up Short Memoir Green Size 4 I'm normally not a green person, but the memoir print looked interesting enough for me to at least try on. I definitely liked it, but I wasn't 100% convinced it would be something I would grab for. I think I would reconsider if I saw it on mark down.  The memoir purple looked a little more busy than the green version and for some reason looks more like paisley to me. I'm not a fan of paisley at all, so I definitely prefer the green over the purple. The other thing is I'm usually a size 2 in Hotty Hots and the store only had a size 4 for me to try on and they look a little baggy. Even if they did have a size 2, I think it would be a definite no for me still.
