Happy Friday! This is my second pair of UGG Since 1974. My first pair was the Charlie Clog which I love. I've been wearing them everyday since I got it. Super comfy and very cozy. Now that I have had them for a couple of months, I wanted a pair of boots for this upcoming winter season. From what I've been hearing on the news reports, this is going to be a brutal winter, even in Atlanta. So I want to be prepared!
I love the packing, it feels like you're about to open up a present. Each pair comes with a dust bag. The dust bag feels like a durable burlap bag. I also like how they protect the boots with a plastic bag. This way if the package gets left out in the rain, chances are you're shoes will be kept dry.
After wearing my Charlie Clog slippers for 2 months, they're actually a bit loose now that the fluffy sheepskin has flattened down. They feel loose enough that I decided to size down for the boots. Their customer service rep emailed me to confirm this is the size I wanted because it's very rare for them to get any orders for size 4. I explained to them that my Charlie Clog's are too loose now but since they're slippers and I'm just walking around my house in them, it's not too bad. But for the boots I wanted something to fit better. They did warn me that they will feel tight at first and will eventually stretch half a size.
I was not prepared for how tight it felt! It is shockingly snug to the point where I wondered if I should have stuck to size 5. I'm going to wear them around the house for a while to break them in before taking them out.

UGG Since 1974 shoes are 100% handmade in Australia. The craftsmanship and quality materials used is amazing. I know these will last for a long time. I also love that you can buy replacement soles for $29. I am hoping these will end up stretching out like my slippers and I'll just buy new inserts every couple of years.
After experiencing a pair of real UGGs, I am never going to buy another pair from the ones made in China. These feel far superior. I'll report back in a couple of months to update if sizing down was the right decision. I am hoping it is because I really love them. If they're too tight to leave the house, then I will keep them as slippers and try again next year. 😂
Price for these gorgeous boots is $259 which is more expensive than the same style of Ugg's that are made in China. I went to look at the UGG website to see the cost and it looks like they're no longer in production but I did find a photo with the price and boy do they look cheaply made.

Jared was so impressed with my new boots, that he wants to try a pair of their slippers and placed an order for the men's Ankle Slipper. 😂 I'll let you know if he keeps them or not. One last thing, the turnaround time from the date I placed the order to the date they were delivered was approximately three weeks. However, I know the closer it gets to winter, the more orders they will receive and the wait times will be longer. I'm glad I beat the rush! That's it for me, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
