Fit Review Friday! Athleta Allure Long Jacket and Forever Fleece Classic Full Zip Sweatshirt

Happy Friday! I'm loving Athleta's new fall shade Nocturnal. It's such a pretty purple with reddish brown undertones. I placed an order for the Allure Long Jacket and Forever Fleece Classic Zip which has an updated fit.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size PXS or XS in Athleta. I also wear size 4/6 or XS/S in Lululemon.

I love the feel of the fabric. It's super soft and medium weight. It's not a heavy jacket. It would make a great transition piece. I'm wearing size petite XS and the sleeves are still slightly too long for me and I have them cuffed.

I think it looks best left open. There's a bit too much fabric on my frame when I have it belted. Kind of looks like a robe on me.

One thing I wasn't a fan of is how the back of the jacket looks. I think it would have been slightly more flattering if they added a vent in the back. The belt is not removable which is a deal breaker for me. I might have considered keeping it if I could remove the belt.

I'm glad I got to try it on because I was eyeing it for a bit. At least I can scratch it off my list. Love, love, love the color though.

Next up we have the Forever Fleece Classic Full Zip Sweatshirt in Nocturnal. I am wearing size petite XS. It's still a little too bulky, especially near the shoulders and chest. I know they updated the fit, but I don't think this is an upgrade.

The sleeves are a little long, but not terrible. I'm used to long sleeves though. My arms are short!

I think the back of the hoodie looks fine.

Another thing I also wasn't a fan of is how high the pocket placement is. I prefer it to sit just a little lower so my elbows aren't flared out. I will say the fleece on the inside sure is cozy. This is a medium weight hoodie. Would have loved this hoodie if it were more flattering.

Off to return these items and I'll be back with another Athleta fit review because I am determined to get something in Nocturnal. When I went to the store to return these items, I picked up something new! That's it for me, I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
