Review! Puma Speedcat Wedge!

Happy Friday and Happy April! About 15 years ago, I had a couple of pairs of Ash wedges. They weren't that comfortable but I loved the look of them. Plus they made me a couple of inches taller. When I saw Puma released a pair, I had to give this style another try.

For reference I typically wear size 5.5 but for this review, I sized up.

Fresh out of the box and I love the taupe suede with the chocolate accents. How cute are they? These have a velcro tab that adds a bit more of a street style.

I have not worn these out yet to try, so I can't say if these are slippery or not. If I had to make an educated guess, I would probably not wear these in the rain. Since the wedges are made out of suede, I wouldn't wear them in the rain anyway, but Puma will be releasing these in a full leather version coming April 16th!

I tied the laces on the inside to give a clean look in the front.

I think they're amazing. The real question is, are they comfy? Or at least comfier than Ash wedges?

I'm wearing size 6 because from past purchases, Puma tends to run a little narrow. After trying them on and walking around the house, these are 100% comfier than Ash wedge sneakers. I'm not saying I would walk 5 plus miles in these, but I think they would be great for casual walking.

BTW, I asked Jared what he thought of these, and he immediately said No. I gasped and in my whiny voice, I asked But Whyyyyyy? He said it's because they make my feet look really tiny and the front of the shoe is so short, that it reminds him of pig feet. 💀😩🤣

I mean, I guess I can see where he's coming from. 😒

(I'm also very tempted to give these a try and see which shoe I like more.)

What do you all think? Love them? Hate them? How do you feel about wedge sneakers? Did you have a pair back in the day? That's it for me! For those who celebrate, have a happy Easter/Passover! Everyone else, have an amazing weekend!

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
