Merry Christmas! Plus Move Update!

Happy Friday and Merry Christmas! Hope you're all having a wonderful holiday season. It's crazy that 2025 will be over in less than a week. I haven't been shopping much for clothes lately, although I did place one last Lululemon order for 2025. I'll post about that soon, but for today I just wanted to share some progress photos of the new house we're moving into. It's been a very slow process because we wanted to get some of the rooms painted, which took a week. Then we needed some electrical and plumbing work done before we could move in. Now that all that's been completed, we are building my new closet and after that we need to put new flooring into my studio/office room. It'll probably be another couple of weeks before we are fully moved in. It's such a long process! Tomorrow we're having some furniture delivered and I'm pretty excited about it. One of the pieces will be my desk. 😍

Here's a photo of the kitchen being painted. We also swapped out the gas stove for an induction. We'll eventually swap out the fridge for a different one in white.

This will be my studio/office. I'll have my bag display case in here along the back wall. Will have to get some curtains and a different ceiling fan. Flooring will also be swapped out. I am really excited for this space!

This is what the closet looked like. The previous owner chose the Container Store Elfa closet. It's just not my style. I've always wanted a IKEA Pax closet.

We took everything down, which took hours!

This is the IKEA Pax system we chose to go with. We are leaving one side of the wall empty for now. I always wanted the nice looking doors, but since this is inside a walk in closet, the doors are not needed. Plus the doors cost SO MUCH MONEY. If you're wondering why there isn't a corner unit, it's because I really hate corner units. I feel like they aren't practical or easy to use. I'm going to put a mirror in that corner that I think will look really nice.

I get the left side, Jared will get the right side. I'll post a photo when it's done! Will also post a progression video on my YouTube channel. 😊 Hope you have an amazing weekend!

  3. Happy Holidays!! House looks amazing and the closet will be so functional. Nothing gets me going more than perfectly organized drawers, which ikea also has solutions for 😆😆

    1. Hi AC! Yeah, we are big fans of IKEA. In fact most of our furniture is IKEA which starts to feel a little too much like their store lol.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
