Fit Review! Brooks Ghost 16 Running Shoe

Happy Friday and Happy August! A few months ago, I asked around for everyone's favorite walking shoe, and a lot of people answered Brooks. I perused their website and decided on a pair of Ghost 16 running shoe. It was actually quite hard for me to find a pair that I liked. Brooks colors and designs are not really my style, but I finally found a pair that was passable.

For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds and across many other brands.

The color reminds me of a peachy pink. It's a neutral color and actually goes with a lot of my summer outfits. The magenta accent color draws the eye in for a closer look. There's very little branding on the shoe, just small lettering on the side.

The shoes have a mesh upper for ventilation. There's a nice amount of padding around the tongue and shoe opening. The laces are soft and they do not come undone which is great.

I've worn these for about two weeks now and they're a very neutral shoe. Not a lot of cushion at all, I would say these have very minimal cushion. I purchased these in my normal shoe size and they are true to size. The toe box is wide, which makes it comfortable to walk in. That said, they're not very responsive. It's a very boring kind of shoe. 😆 Especially comparing it to Beyondfeel Running shoe and On Cloudmonster Void. Now those are fun shoes. Very cushiony and bouncy.

I would say these are fine for long walks, but I would not like these for running at all. I bought these on sale for $99 and I'll wear them, but they are quite boring if I'm being honest!

I am curious what others think about Brooks and Ghost 16 if you have tried them. That's all for today! Hope you have a fantastic weekend! Enjoy the last month of summer. It's going to go by quick!

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
