New Releases Week of April 23rd 2024

I'm actually pretty excited for this week's newest releases. I'm going to order Lululemon's Softstreme Full Zip Hoodie and compare it to Athleta's Seasoft Bubble Hem Full Zip. They're both very similar and I want to know which one I'll prefer. I am going to place a Vuori order as well. I have a fit request and I am interested in the new Halo Warm Up Jogger and Mackenzie Pant

Did you order anything this week? Let me know in the comments if you want to see a fit review of something!

(Ohhh I am ordering this, wondering if I will like this or the Athleta version more?!)

(This is giving Gwen Stefani vibes)

(Wow these are cute, has a double layer waistband which I don't need tho!)

(These look comfy, but also looks very high rise.)

(Super excited to see new colors in my favorite Athleta pants!)

(oohhh, very interested in this too, since I love the pullover hoodie!)

  1. Hi Leslie,
Taupetastic is so pretty and I wouldn’t mind having a jacket in this neutral color!

I got myself a third pair of Athleta Seasoft Mid Rise Straight Crop in Coastline Blue. The color is slightly lighter than expected but still very pretty. I’m thinking of getting the matching Seasoft Crewneck Sweatshirt but not liking the shorter front. Have you ever tried on this sweatshirt at all?

    3. You read my mind, Leslie! I was going to request a fit review/comparison of the Seasoft and Softstreme Full Zips, but I see you're already on it :) They're so similar, I can't decide which one I like better.

I really like the new Allbirds shoes too. I didn't see the Tree Runner Go on the Canadian website, so hopefully we get them soon!

    4. Hi Lola, I am pretty excited to see these two hoodies in person. Also what timing!

I think Canada will get the new Tree Runner Go, I remember it took a little while to get the Wool Runner 2 in Canada, maybe a couple of months?

  2. Can you do a fit review of the mesh panelled running t shirt? I’ve worn a lot of lululemon swiftly shirts for running in the past, but the summers are so hot these days that I’m looking for new options. Thanks.

  3. I really like the look of the tree runner go! I like the look of the Vuori Aston pants too. Nothing for me this week. I like some items but don't have to have anything. - Janessa

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
