Fit Review! Lululemon Classic Fit Cotton Blend Tank Top & Scuba Oversized Full Zip

Hope you all had a nice weekend! I spent a little bit of time at the pool and fell asleep on the lounge chair. I also went to Avalon again and did some store try-ons, so I'll have that post coming up soon! Today's post is a quick Lululemon fit review.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops.

also wearing Vuori Halo Performance Short Size XS

Classic Fit Cotton Blend Tank Top in Twilight Rose for a while. I just love Twilight Rose, it's such a pretty mauve-pink. When the color finally hit WMTM for $34, I decided to go for it. I purchased it in my usual size 4 and it is true to size. I'm surprised it hasn't sold out yet, it's still available in nearly every size as of this post.

The arm holes are not too big and the length hits right at the hip. There is a small side slit at the hem. The fabric is a blend of cotton and linen. While it is soft, there is a bit of that textured linen feel. This tank is very petite friendly and now that I know it fits well, I will be keeping an eye out for more colors. This is the perfect summer tank, I de-tagged this the very next day and wore it out.

I wanted to see what the Daisy Vista print looked like in person, so I took placed an order for it. I just don't love it in person, the color is a yellow beige and I don't think the color is flattering on me. Up close you can see the tiny daisies all over. It's cute, but just not for me.

I'm wearing my usual size in XS/S for the Scuba Oversized Full Zip hoodies. I already have two of these hoodies in my closet and if I were to add a third one, it has to be pretty special. Sad to say, this one went back.

Hope you're all staying cool! Back to the grind and here's to another amazing week!

  1. I bought the same tank and also the classic fit cotton blend dress in chambray. Hoping the dress will have a similar fit as the tank!

    1. Hi Jen c! Please let us know how the dress is! I usually do not get the dresses because they are too long for me. But this one looks really cute.

  2. You read my mind again. I was curious about the Daisy print too. Now that you say it’s a bit yellow I won’t be buying it. Which colors do you own in this hoodie? Did you post a fir review on them? I really want one since the fitted crop one fits a bit strange on me. …Cindy

  3. I know what you mean about Light Ivory - I ordered a top in that color a few months ago and I wouldn't describe the color as ivory at all. It's definitely a yellow-beige, like you said. I too didn't care for the color. The print on that hoodie is really cute though. If they did that print in a Flush Pink/Peony Pink, or Lilac Smoke/Dark Lavender, I'd be all over it!

And I'm glad the tank worked out for you! I have amassed quite a few of them. I've been living in them this summer!

    1. Hi Lola! Ohhh if the print is repeated on a light pink or lavender, I would definitely try it again! That does sound super cute.

The tank is amazing! I am very pleased with how well it fits. Thanks!

  4. The Vuori shorts look great, I'll look into them. The tank looks comfy. Agree with you about the daisy print zip jacket, just a little meh...

    1. Hi Jean L! If you like their Performance joggers, you'll most likely love the shorts as well. They're just so comfy.

    2. I like a plain Scuba color better especially since you're only keeping a few! It's a cute print but not my favorite! LLL's cotton tops are so soft! I think the tank is a great casual piece.

    3. Hi Janessa, totally agree. It was disappointing. I can see the tank becoming one of my new favorites.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
