Lululemon Strongfeel Training Shoe

Hope everyone had a nice relaxing weekend. When I saw the Lululemon Strongfeel Training Shoe went on sale for $79 I had to order a pair. When I tried them back in October of last year in pink, I was very impressed.

For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds and Lululemon shoes.

I am still not a huge fan of the logo on the back of the shoe, but I do love the color Anchor/Vapor. It's a brown and grayish purple and very pretty in real life.

Fit- These feel true to size. They're snug and feel secure and stable which is what you want for strength training. They do feel very sturdy and the upper is thicker than what I am used to. There's a decent amount of padding around the ankles.

They're perfect with my Bombas ankle socks. The question remains, am I keeping these? I really want to, but my husband is pretty adamant that I have way too many shoes (and he's not wrong). I have an embarrassing amount of Allbirds shoes. 😅 He says if I keep these I have to give up two of my older pairs and I'm not sure I'm ready to do that! On the other hand, these were purchased from WMTM and I have never tried to return an item that's on sale even though the website says if I take them to the store I can get store credit. Has anyone done this?

That's it for me, hope you all have a fantastic Monday!

  1. hi Leslie! Anchor/Vapor is a pretty combination and $79 is a really good deal. I wonder if Lululemon shoes hold up as well as AllBirds or Nike?

I've returned a marked down item at the store with no issues. As long as you're a Lululemon member, which I'm sure you are, they will provide store credit/a gift card for the purchase amount. Have a great week!

    1. Hi Karen! That's a good question. I'm sure someone here would be able to respond. I think these shoes have been out for close to a year now.

I hope the return goes smoothly, I will head to the store this weekend. Maybe I'll do a try on post! =D

    2. It should be fine! I used to return the WMTM items in the store before the policy. They never cared and would always let me exchange for something else. I even talked to them a few times about the sizing being off through their online chat and they would offer store credit if I mailed the item back to them. (It never hurts to ask!) Now that there is an official policy to let you return, they are even more lenient IMO. I wouldn't stress about it. Sorry that your hubby is making you return them! The colors are pretty! But, I guess that frees up $$ for something else! :)

    3. Thanks for the vote of confidence! I don't mind getting a gift card at all, I know it'll end up going to something else I will want. I'm actually really glad they updated the policy to allow for returns.

  2. Hi Leslie,
Too bad you’re not keeping these shoes cos the color is really pretty!

I don’t need strength training shoes at all but wonder if these shoes are good for walking.

    1. Hi Andrea, they're probably fine for walking, I wouldn't walk a lot though because it's not as comfy as Allbirds.

    2. Thanks, Leslie. Always appreciate your advice! :)

  3. Hi Leslie, that's too bad you're not keeping the shoes. I really love mine. I can relate to having too many pairs, however. I always get the side eye from my hubby when a new shoebox gets delivered :)

Andrea, I think you could probably wear the Strongfeels for walking, however they're not super cushioned (ie: your foot doesn't sink into the insole). I wear mine around the house a lot, and I find them really comfortable, but I haven't worn them outside because I want to keep them clean and pretty.

    1. Hi Lola! It started with the side-eye and now it's full blown, "no more shoes until you get rid of some!!" Sigh.

    2. Thanks for your advice, Lola! I am tempted to give Strongfeel Training Shoes a try but I don’t really need another pair of shoes. @_@‘ Thanks to Leslie, I now have 9 pairs of Allbirds!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...

Review! Lululemon's Large Everywhere Belt Bag Size Comparison Plus Video!

Happy Friday! I can't believe it's almost Halloween! I actually have a dentist appointment on Halloween. One of my molars chipped and needs to be filled in. It's a tiny chip that I didn't even notice until my dentist pointed it out to me during my last visit. I'm not looking forward to it at all since I will need local anesthesia. Anyway, today I have a belt bag size comparison review for you all! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.
