Fit Review Friday! Stretch Woven Wide-Leg High-Rise Cropped Pant & Scuba High-Rise Cropped Jogger WMTM Update!

Happy Friday! I feel like I should just do a fit review for all the cropped pants Lululemon offers for my fellow petites. I was curious to see how the Stretch Woven Wide-Leg HR Cropped Pant would look in person. I'm definitely feeling the 90s grunge vibe here. 😆

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon bottoms.

also wearing Ebb To Street Cropped Tank Size 6

These pants are WIDE! I am loving the side slit, it elevates the pant and makes it extra flowy. The length is quite long, and they are grazing the floor. The inseam measures a tad over 26 inches and the leg opening measures 13 inches wide.

The waistband does not have a lot of stretch and I did have to wiggle a bit to get it over my hips. It's snug on my waist, so I would say these run a bit small. I would want to size up for comfort. These would fit a size 2 for sure. I think a size small would be better for sizes 4 to 6. The inside of the waistband is lined with super soft Nulu. I kind of wish they would do that for everything!

The fabric is stretchy and has a crinkled look and feel without being wrinkly if that makes sense. They are very lightweight and perfect for spring/summer. I do think these pants have a beautiful drape and they are very stylish. I'm a fan of these but wish the waistband wasn't so tight. I think if I sized up, the length would be too long and I would have to get them hemmed. For $149, these have to be perfect, so back they went.

Next up, we have the Scuba HR Cropped Jogger. I've been meaning to try these as well and after I loved the Loungeful Cropped Jogger (read my review), I decided I needed to try these too.

The look and fit is very similar to the Loungeful High-Rise Cropped Jogger. The Scuba High-Rise Cropped Jogger has a slightly shorter inseam, measuring 24 inches in length vs 25 inches for the Loungeful High-Rise Jogger. The Scuba Cropped Jogger also feels exactly like the Scuba Hoodie in terms of fabric and weight. Actually, I take that back, the Scuba Jogger feels a little softer than my three Scuba Hoodies. I wonder if that's because it's heathered. The Loungeful Cropped Jogger looks more like a traditional sweatpant. It's lined with thick fleece on the inside and is meant for colder weather. The Scuba Cropped Jogger is breathable and more versatile in my opinion. The Scuba design is incorporated along the hip and outer thigh. Between the two joggers, I would reach for the Scuba Cropped Jogger more since it rarely gets very cold in Atlanta.

I am wearing size 6 in these and they are quite roomy in the hip and waist and I am able to pull these down a bit so the waistband hits my belly button. Super comfortable with an adjustable drawstring. I decided to keep these over the Loungeful Jogger! I hope Lulu will release these in more colors. I'm sad I slept on them for so long! I probably missed out on a bunch of fun colors. Price is $108 which is the same price as the Loungeful High-Rise Cropped Jogger. Both are great joggers and it all really comes down to what you would reach for more.

That's it for me! For those celebrating Mother's Day, I hope you all have a beautiful and loving weekend!

  1. I tried the Scuba joggers also, and even living in PA in winter, I thought they were too warm, I felt like I would be sweaty wearing them around the house or sleeping in them. I prefer the weight of the Vuori joggers personally, but I'm glad you like them! You just convinced me to order those wide legs pants to try though! I'm here for the 90s JNCO vibes!

    1. Hi Mockginger! Vuori joggers will always be my favorite but sometimes they feel a little too thin for me during the winter. But they are my go to almost year round. Do let me know what you think of the wide leg pants! I will admit, I loved my JNCO's back in the day! =D

    2. The wide leg pants just came! I really love the fit of them, but I have wide hips and the pockets puckered out when I had them on. :( So for me, unfortunately they're a return. I wish they'd just add a zipper to the pocket so they would lay flat when not in use like Athleta does with a lot of their pants. Then they'd be perfect and worth the $150 price tag.

    3. That's unfortunate. I do like the option of added zippers on the pockets too. I don't see that too often on Lulu pants. At least you tried them! There will always be something else that will be perfect for you.

  2. Thanks for the review! I like the look of the pants but don't think I could pull them off. I'm just not that cool!

I'm interested in the similar Cinchable Waist HR Woven Short, but $88 is a lot for a pair of shorts. They even come in xxxs!

    1. Hi LZ! I did not notice those shorts come in XXXS! That's wild. I kinda love them in the Twilight Rose tho... maybe I'll get them for a review to see if they're worth the money!

  3. I really like those wide leg pants! I agree with you though; they're stupid expensive.

The Envital Bra arrived, and it's a hit. I'm right between a 4 and 6 in Lulu bras, and I went for a 4, and it fits very well. It's super-comfortable - to me, the fabric feels like Luxtreme, but slightly rougher (could be because of the recycled polyester). The straps are the perfect length (I find the straps on Lulu bras are often to long on me) and nothing digs. I haven't worked out in it yet, but it feels like a solid medium support to me. I got it in Magenta, and I'm going back for the Hawaiian Blue one too :)

    1. Hi Lola! Oh nice, I'm glad the Envital Bra is a keeper. I'm glad they are still releasing bras at the $48 price range. I thought for sure $58 was their new minimum pricing for bras. I still need to try the Align V-Neck Bra. I think that one is next on my list to try.

  4. The wide leg pants look great on you ! Somewhat off topic , have you ever heard of or tried Wanakome hoodies ? It’s a Canadian brand and the style of some of their hoodies is reminiscent of the AN Ninja hoodie (which I bought because of your reviews and LOVE it) .

    1. Hi there! I have not heard of Wanakome hoodies before. I just looked at the website and I can see the resemblance. They have some cute stuff! I'm glad you are loving your AN Ninja hoodie. My fave is their zip up but the Ninja hoodie just looks so cool.

  5. The cropped Scuba Joggers fit perfectly on you! I love heathered core ultra light grey! That's my most reached for Scuba Oversized half zip color. The wide pants are really wide on the side and not something I'd reach for often but they do look fashionable! I think the wide pants look is in right now with cargos and sweats being super baggy paired with a form fitting top. I like that sort of look! :D

Wow LLL's prices have gone up so much even the WMTM is not tempting me

    1. Hi Janessa! I love the wide leg pant look too, very trendy but will probably go out of fashion again in a few years.

Honestly I have not shopped WMTM in a loooooong time. But I keep looking though!

  6. Can you please do a review on the light weight mid rise barrel leg cropped pants? I like the ether green color. Thanks a bunch.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
