Fit Review! Alo Yoga Muse Hoodie, Renown Heavy Weight Hoodie & Lululemon Loungeful High-Rise Cropped Jogger

Hope you all had a nice weekend. I just got back from watching the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie and I cried so much. Don't get me wrong, I loved the movie, but it is hard to watch. 😭 Anyone else see it over the weekend? Today's post is a mix of Alo Yoga and Lululemon! I haven't tried Alo Yoga in a year. I love their Sherpa Jackets, but even the XS it looks a little too big on my petite frame. I keep hoping they will release some in size XXS so I can try them again.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size XS or XXS in Alo Yoga. I also wear a size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.

I really love this Muse Hoodie. I originally wanted it in Ivory but it is currently sold out in size XS. It's a super soft ribbed knit, and slightly cropped but not overly so. Fabric is lightweight, so it's great for cool summer days or warm spring days. The only time it does show my midriff is when I lift my arms over my head. This top is so comfortable, I like wearing it at home and going out.

I'm wearing size XS and it's true to size. It's slightly oversized but not by much. The sleeve length is perfect. I think this is a very petite friendly top. There is a matching Muse Sweatpant that I would love to have, but the inseam is 30 inches which is much too long for me.

I've been curious about the Loungeful High-Rise Cropped Jogger for awhile and finally got around to ordering it to try. I'm wearing size 6 and I sized up in these for comfort. These measure 25 inches in length which is my preferred length. The fit is slightly baggy in the leg, but I think it still works on my petite frame. The opening at the cuff is a little bit wide, but I think it still works.

These are meant to be high-rise but I pulled them down a little so that they hit right underneath my belly button. It's the main reason I sized up. I think they are very flattering. The inside is lined with thick fleece. These are definitely meant to be winter joggers, and much to warm for me to wear in Atlanta right now, but they would be perfect for fall and winter. Price is $108 which I think is a little steep. I'm a little surprised they haven't been marked down yet. Verdict? The Loungeful High-Rise Cropped Jogger are petite friendly and if these hit WMTM, they are an instant buy.

Last but not least, we have the Renown Heavy Weight Hoodie in Taupe. I'm wearing size XXS and this hoodie is still very much oversized on my petite frame. I could have easily fit into an XXXS if they offered it.

True to its name, this hoodie is heavy weight. It's made of French Terry and will keep you very warm and cozy. While it's also very comfortable to wear, I felt it overwhelmed my frame. That said, I love the color Taupe, it's such a beautiful neutral.

I love the kangaroo pockets and the oversized hood, but in the end, I returned this hoodie. Hope you enjoyed this review. That's all I have for you today and here's to another brand new week! 😊

  1. I really like the Muse Hoodie on you! Grey can sometimes be a little boring, but the texture in the hoodie jazzes it up. The Loungeful Cropped Joggers look super cozy! I'm definitely intrigued now.

I saw Guardians over the weekend as well! I totally know what you're talking about; I bawled my eyes out too! Great movie, but I probably won't ever watch it again.

    1. Hi Lola! I asked my husband if he would watch it again and he said yes. I don't think I can watch it again unless I skipped the sad parts. It's still a great movie though. I loved it.

    1. Hi there, I didn't order the ivory but it looks like a cream to me. I'm also pretty klutzy, so I went with the gray, but the ivory looks super luxe. And this hoodie is too warm for the summer, the inside is plushy.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
