Fit Review! Athleta Farallon Pant & Elation Pant

Hope everyone had a nice weekend! My weekend was still low-key since my DH is still not feeling 100%. I have some new fit reviews coming up! There will be a Lululemon and Vuori post in the near future. Today I've got the second half of my Athleta haul.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size PXS in Athleta bottoms. I also wear size 4 in Lululemon bottoms.

(on sale $64.99)

I'm a big fan of Athleta's Farallon Jogger and wanted to see how the pant version compared. I'm wearing my usual size Petite XS and it is true to size. The waist is a perfect fit and sits right underneath my belly button. These pants are straight-leg and fitted from waist to hip. Wide leg pants are on-trend right now and if you wanted a more slouchy 90s look, sizing up could be an option.

The length is perfect for petites, measuring 25 inches long. I'm wearing them with my Birkenstock sandals. The color Coastline blue is showing up much too saturated in my photos, I was having a hard time with the lighting. It's much more of a gray-blue than how it appears. My apologies for that. The two close up photos of the side and back are more true to life.

The waist is stretchy and has a drawstring to customize your fit. The fabric is a light-weight cotton that's medium-weight and feels great for the cool spring and summer days. It's a casual look that's perfect for the weekend.

Next up we have one of my favorite Athleta bottoms, the Elation Jogger. Not sure why these are called joggers, they're definitely more of a pant to me. They're nice enough that I can wear these to the office except they feel like I'm wearing pajamas. 😆

Elation Pant Black Size Petite XS
also wearing Rothy's Driver Latte Size 5

This is my second pair and I also have them in Granite Blue. If you would like to see photos of them in Granite Blue, check out my review here. The length is 24 inches which hits right at my ankle and it's perfect to show off a pair of Rothy's Drivers. I'm currently drooling over the new color Beachside Pink.

The waist is very similar to Lululemon's Align bottoms. The fabric is just as buttery soft, if not better. I love the pockets and the pleating makes it look more business casual for the office! This would look great with a blazer or cardigan.

The only con for wearing them in black is it shows all the little dust and cat hair! 😬 But I still love them nevertheless.

That's it for me! Hope you all have a fantastic start of a brand new week!

  1. Farallon pants are cute! Are they a lighter fabric, then, than the Farallon joggers?

  3. I love fit of pants like the elation jogger and in that material?! I wish they didn't have that reflective silver logo because it makes it look more athleisure when I don't want that sometimes.

    1. Hi Janessa! Yeah the silver logo does make it look more athleisure but at least it's mostly hidden as long as you don't wear a crop top.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
