Fit Review Friday! Athleta Member's Event Haul! With Ease Tee, Seasoft Crewneck Sweatshirt, Transcend Stash Straight Leg Pant

Happy Friday! My Athleta haul is slowly trickling in. Here's part one and I think there might be another two blog posts to get through the entire haul.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size PXS or XXS in Athleta. I also wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.

I received a fit request for the With Ease Tee and I am wearing size XXS. It's still slightly big but I think this is how it should look. It's a relaxed fit with a shorter length in the front and a cute drape in the back. It is a longer tee with complete coverage on my petite frame. The fabric is on the thin side and sheer in the white color. It's very soft and comfortable. That said, I do not recommend this at the retail price ($59), since it's a fairly thin tee. I would wait for a discount code or sale price.

As you all know, I'm obsessed with Lululemon's Softstreme and love Athleta's Seasoft version. This pullover is lightweight and buttery soft. Seasoft is thinner than Softstreme, but I personally prefer it to be thinner and not as heavy, especially since we're heading into the warmer months. It's cool to the touch and very comfortable. I went with Abalone Gray and it's one of my favorite colors from Athleta. It's the perfect neutral. This will definitely be one of my favorite tops to reach for on my work from home days. Sleeves are a little long and there are no thumbholes. I'm wearing size XS and the fit is relaxed. If you would like this to be more fitted, sizing down could be an option. This top is also available in Coastline Blue - a cool blue gray, which I wouldn't mind adding to my wardrobe.

Slightly curved hem in the front and the back as well.

The back length offers full coverage on petite frame. Overall, I'm pleased with this pullover and happy to have added this to my closet. Last but not least we have the Transcend Stash Straight Leg Pant in Bali Green. When I placed this order, I forgot the Transcend line tends to run small. I should have ordered this in a size up.

Waist is too small, it feels and looks pinched. Sits at belly button.

The Transcend line fabric is Vitafree which feels like a thinner version of Lululemon's Nulu. The waistband is very similar to the Align style. Super comfortable and lightweight with a barely there feel. I'm wearing size PXS and the waist is too small on me. It's also pretty tight in the hip area and can see some panty lines. The length measures 25" but it feels shorter than that. I like the side ankle slit detail. Here's a photo of my Align Crop Size 4 and the Transcend Stash Pant on top in size PXS. It's cut smaller in the waist and more narrow in the hip.

It looks fine, but trust me I'm sucking it in here!

I already went ahead and placed another order in the next size up and will post an update. I do love the side pockets. If you're interested in these, I would consider sizing up unless you don't mind it being tight. Personally, the older I get the more picky I am and won't wear anything that's tight or even a smidge uncomfortable.

That's all I have today. Did you get anything from the Athleta sale? I'll have part two up for Monday! Have a great weekend!

  1. Thank you for another great fit review! I like all of the pieces you got! I ended up ordering the With Ease Tank during the sale. Hopefully it is as cute as the short sleeve. And I laughed at your "sucking it in" comment about the Transcend Pants :)

The Triumph Hybrid Wide Crop I had previously ordered arrived, and I'm trying to decide whether or not to keep them. They feel lovely on, but I think they run big - the legs are cut REALLY wide, but the waist is good. Now that the sale is over I'm not keen on ordering a smaller size at regular price. First-world problems, lol.

I'm looking forward to your Athleta review- part 2! Have a great weekend!

    1. Hi Lola! I looked at the Triumph Hybrid Wide Crop and didn't think I could pull it off because of the wide leg. It's even harder when it's a crop because it would fall at a weird length and probably make me look even shorter. Personally, if it's a wide leg, I would prefer a longer length.

  2. Oh my, where to start! I ordered so much from the member event. I didn't order the Transcend pant or Seasoft Sweatshirt but after seeing them on you, now I may have to order those!

I'm with you on not wanting things too tight or uncomfortable so I also had to go back and forth with different sizes. I ended up keeping the Fairway pant (I'll use them for golf) in a 2P. My normal 0P was too tight in the waist. I sent back the endless pant in a 0P and the new Retreat Linen Jogger in a 0P, both too huge! I also keep the Advantage Polo Top (with quarter zip) and Advantage Polo tank, both in an XS.

I sent back the momentum sport length tank and tee in an XS, I liked the short length but both fit me weirdly. I have other older momentum tops in XS that fit fine. Sizes in that top seem to have changed. I kept the Ultimate Muscle Tank in an XXS. Great fit, comfortable, cool for hot weather and a nice short length.

Can' wait to see what else you ordered!

    1. Oops, meant to add my name, the above comment with the huge order was from me!

    2. Hi Diane! I highly recommend both the Seasoft Sweatshirt and the Transcent Pant. I tried the Stella Wide Leg Crop in 0P and it's SOOOOO tight, I definitely need at 2P at least in that style. I also ordered the Endless Pant in 0P and found it to be pretty comfortable but I haven't decided yet if I will keep it. Sounds like you had a pretty good haul yourself! =D

I think I may have 2 more posts to finish up the haul. It's a lot!

  3. hi Leslie! Thanks for the fit review! The Seasoft Crewneck Sweatshirt looks comfortable! I will add it to my wish list! The Transcend Stash Straight Leg Pant looks petite friendly. I wish the back seam was curved like the Elation Flare Pant though. I think curved back seams just look more flattering. Let us know how size SP works out for you! If it's is a smidge longer than XSP, it'll be the perfect length on you! Have a great weekend!

    1. Hi Karen! Yes, I agree, wish the back seam on the Transcent Pant was curved, but they're so comfortable I'm willing to overlook it. The Petite Small arrived today and it's PERFECT. The length is also a little bit longer too. I'll have it up for Monday's review. I have it in black coming too, but it's on back order until end of the month.

    2. hi Leslie! That's great that size SP is a little longer. I think the XSP is ~0.5-1" too short to be full length on you, so SP may be just perfect!

  4. Those pants are very flattering on you when they’re tight lol. Glad to see they’re petite friendly as some pants are still too long for me in petite

  5. Leslie. Do you happen to have the wayfarer bombing coming from your haul? It’s soooo cute. Can I request a review? And also a review for the at ease tank. It seems to fit smaller than the tee on the models.

    2. Hi Cindy, I do not, but I'll add both to my next order. The tank does seem very small, I would probably size up for a looser fit. Thanks for the suggestions!

  6. I have the Seasoft Wide Leg pants and love them -- Seasoft doesnt get the strange, unknown stains that I get with Softstreme. I got the Cosmic Kick Flare pant and love them. They are TTS, bordering on the slightly big. :)

    1. Hi! I have the Seasoft Cropped Pant and love those. Wish they would release more colors because the Wide Leg is too long for me. I haven't tried the Cosmic Kick Flare Pant, glad you like them!

    2. Do you mean the seasoft cropped straight leg pants? They look like wide leg on me though. .... Cindy

    3. They're a little wide, but not super wide like the styles out now. I have a fit review of them here. I wear them all the time!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
