Fit Review Friday! Athleta Pranayama Wrap, Studio Jogger, Organic Daily Relaxed Tee, Outbound Tee- Plus All the Labor Days Sales You Need To Know About
Happy Friday/September! My no-buy challenge is officially over and just in time too, because Labor Day Sales have started! I already have a few orders coming in for new fit reviews. 😅
For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size XXS/PXS in Athleta. I also wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms. Athleta is having a Labor Day Event - with an extra 30% off sale items.

I reviewed the Studio Jogger a couple of years ago, and while I ended up returning it at the time, I wanted to try it again to see if I felt any different about it. Sometimes I will try things again as my taste in clothing is constantly changing and evolving. Here's a link to my original review in case anyone is interested.
The inseam measures 24.5 inches, which is pretty much perfect for me. I love the fold over waistband. The fabric is crazy soft, but it is on the thin side. The pant leg is still baggy, which I also mentioned in my original review, but I don't mind it as much as before. I really like the casual look of these joggers and I love the burgundy wine color. This time, it's a keeper. Plus it is currently on sale for $54.99 with an additional 30% off. I purchased these back in July before my ban started without the extra 30% off. I've already worn them a couple of times, and it's worth it even at $54.99.
Overall, the Studio Jogger runs a little large, but it's not enough to size down. I am also wearing the Aurora Seamless High Neck Crop Tank which I have reviewed before as well. I'm wearing size small and have worn them for yoga and it's performed well for me since I have a small bust (no shelf bra).
Next up, we have one of my favorite Athleta wraps. I have had a few of these wraps and pretty much wore them all the time to the office. I finally purchased another to replace my older ones. Minimalistic Gray goes with my work wardrobe so well. It's great for business casual office environments and can double up as loungewear too.

Lululemon On The Fly Crop Size 4 (old)
The fabric is Nirvana, and seriously some of the softest fabrics you can have on your body. That said, it is prone to pilling after a while. Mine have held up for a few years but now they have become a little too shabby to wear at the office. I'm wearing my usual PXS, and this runs true to size.
Underneath the Pranayama Wrap, I am wearing the Organic Daily Relaxed Tee in Tinsel Purple which is a very pretty light lilac. This tee is oversized even in size XXS, so I would definitely size down. The fabric is lightweight, and slightly see-though. It reminds me of tissue-tees. The sleeves have extra coverage and the length of the tee is quite long. I have it tucked in the front, but it does cover most of my bum.
This is another one of my typical business casual outfits. The Outbound Tee is semi-fitted. I like to size up in this tee. I'm wearing size Petite Small. Made out of soft SuPima Cotton, it is a medium weight fabric. The length hits at low hip, and I like to tuck them into my pants. I always like to wear a cardigan or blazer over my tees for a casual but professional look.

Thanks for another great review, Leslie! I've been thinking of giving the Pranayama Wrap a try but the fact that it pills bothers me. However, if it come out in Dusky Violet I won't be able to resist! :D
ReplyDeleteI love my Studio Joggers and they are really soft and comfortable. I wear them mostly at home cos like you said the pant leg is a bit too baggy. I'm still debating if I should get another pair in Spiced Cabernet but I wish it was more purple than burgundy.

I’m glad I’m not the only one whose Pranayama wraps are pilling! I was worried. ;) I wear mine pretty often as they are so comfortable and versatile.

hi Leslie! The Studio Joggers are perfect in length for you and spiced cabernet is a great colour for the fall. The Pranayama wrap looks very nice in Minimalistic Grey The soft shade is flattering on your skin tone and pairs nicely with Tinsel Purple!
