Review! Tory Burch Lee Radziwill Petite Double Satchel Bag

Did everyone have a nice weekend? There's only 10 days left in August. I am on a strict no-spend for the rest of the month since I broke my ban over the weekend for the Allbirds sale. 😆 Today's review is a bag I purchased a few months ago. The first time I saw this bag was back in 2021 in black. The leather was amazingly soft and very high quality. I was very impressed but wondered if maybe the size was too small for my needs. Flash forward to the spring of 2022 and Tory Burch released the same bag in a pretty pink shade called Meadowsweet. I needed to see it in person and could not resist placing an order. Spoiler alert- I fell in love and kept it the bag!

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.

(Sadly, this color is currently sold out.)

This satchel features a leather top handle with a four inch drop. It also comes with an adjustable crossbody strap. The clasp on the front of the bag is reminiscent of the Hermes Birkin and Kelly but without the flap closure. If I need a hands-free bag for the day, I will opt to use the crossbody strap. However it looks so cute when it's used as a hand held bag.

The front clasp can be left open or closed. I do leave it open when I need more room as it allows the bag to expand a little bit. It definitely looks more put together and neat when the clasp is buttoned up. The size is very proportionate for my petite frame and I find it to be quite flattering. Some bags will swallow me up, but this is just the perfect size. Seriously, how cute is it?

Let's take a look at the details of the bag.

There are O rings on the back of the bag to attach the crossbody strap. The hardware is gold and I love the dog leash clip. The leather is slightly pebbled but overall it is very smooth and soft.

I love the contrast stitching.

Adjustable strap with 5 holes.

The clasp is simple push/pull closure.

This bag is mini in size. It measures 7.5 inches wide, 6.5 inches high, and 4 inches deep. There is a main compartment that is divided into two sections. There is a small pocket with slots to hold a few cards. I can fit my pouch, card case, and key holder. My iPhone 12 Pro fits standing up. It's just slightly too wide for it to fit sideways. I can also throw in my AirPods and lip balm, but that's really it. The outside pockets I will usually stash receipts and other miscellaneous things.

There are also two side pockets lined in suede.

There are snaps to keep the main compartment closed from prying eyes.

The side of the bag is suede.

The bottom of the bag does not have any feet.

Overall, I give this bag 4 out of 5 stars. I took half a point off for not being able to fit my phone in sideways and another half point off for not having any feet on the bottom of the bag for the price of $648. When I first saw this bag back in 2021, it was priced at $598. Since then the price has increased this year, along with pretty much everything else. 😐 That said, I still recommend this cutie! Every time I take the bag out, I get a lot of compliments on how adorable it is. One day I would love to add a small version of this bag to my collection. That's it for me! Hope you all have a fantastic Monday!

  1. How cute is this bag?! The color is really lovely and I agree the size is proportionate for your petite frame. I don’t normally like gold hardware but the gold hardware on this bag complement the color Meadowsweet. Just wish the bag is slightly bigger so it can fit your phone sideways but other than that, it’s really a very chic small bag.

    1. Hi Andrea, It's almost perfect. But I could not resist how adorable it is even in this mini size. And you know pink is one of my favorite colors!

  2. That bag is stunning. A bit bigger would be a bit more practical. I do look at it from time to time on the Tory website, but it’s beyond my budget. Well, actually, I’m choosing to spend my money on travel once again. It’s been far too long!

    1. Hi there! I would love to travel more. It's just hard with 4 cats. We always need to find a sitter and even then one of my cats doesn't do well with any kind of stranger. It stresses her out so much. I have so many places I would love to visit though!

    2. Have you looked on Poshmark? I switch bags so much I don’t mind buying second hand.

    3. Hi, yes I'm actually a big fan of second hand. Most of my bags are from ebay, TRR, Fashionphile, Poshmark and Vestaire Collective. Sometimes if I am really particular about the color and size and style and I can't find it on any of the second hand shops, I will get it brand new. It's very rare though. I would say 80% of my bags are second hand.

  3. hi Leslie! This bag reminds me of the Hermes Kelly bag, very classy! The small square design looks both cute and modern. I love the colour too! It would go well with any camel or grey outfits!

    1. Hi Karen! It really does remind me of the Kelly bag. The small size is on my wish list. Not anytime soon though!

    2. So adorable Leslie! I love the color. I think even though the bag is small, it's quite thick so it can still fit a decent amount of stuff. I would love the next size up though.
      Thanks for the review, Cindy

    4. Hmmm the price on the TB website is still 598.00

    5. Yeah, I do see some at 598, but there's also one at 648 and mine was also 648. Maybe it depends on the color.

  4. That color is so pretty and romantic! It would work well all year round

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
