Review! Everywhere Crossbody Bag! Plus Video

Happy August! I cannot believe there's only 5 months left to 2022. Summer is halfway over and before you know it, it'll be pumpkin lattes and halloween decorations everywhere. Hit the beach (or the pool in my case) while you can. We only get so many summers in our lifetime. Here's your reminder to not let them pass you by.

Today, I have a review on the Everywhere Crossbody Bag that's currently sold out much to my surprise. Or maybe not since belt bags are all the rage this summer. I will also compare the size to the Everywhere Belt Bag.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms. Athleta I wear size XXS or PXS.

Outfit Details

First thing I noticed off the bat, the crossbody strap is REALLY nice. It's thick and soft. I kinda wish the Everywhere Belt Bag would have this strap or at least make the straps removable and interchangeable to further customize to your liking. I think that would be an amazing option to bring these bags to another level.

Besides the nicer strap, this belt bag also has additional strap loops to clip on something small like the City Adventurer Backpack Nano. I personally am not a huge fan of this look, it kind of makes it look bulky and not appealing on my petite frame. My husband says it reminds him of the grenade belt look. 😂

Let's look at some details. The strap feels luxurious. It's soft and silky with a nice weight. I really wish these straps were removable. The zipper pull is on the smaller side and narrow. It's made of metal though, which is nice.

This also has the Lululemon rubber tab on the left side. It's a little less noticeable on the White Opal in my opinion, it seems to blend in fairly well. There are four belt loops.

There is a metal Lululemon logo and the inside has the Lululemon decal sticker. There's an inside mesh pocket as well, all very similar to the Everywhere Belt Bag. The zipper is metal, which is great, but the zipper quality is very poor quality. In my video, which I will link to below, you can hear how rough the zipper sounds. It's not a smooth zip, it feels like it needs some wax or oil which I wasn't about to try since the bag is too small for me to keep.

Speaking of size, let's see what fits! The bag dimensions is quite small. Approximately 7 inches wide, by 1.5 inches deep and 4 inches high. Now I can definitely fit my essentials. Card case, key holder, AirPods, and my phone. But it is a very tight fit. Not much else will fit in this mini bag.

Once my phone goes in there, that's all it will fit.

There is no back pocket.

Here are some photos to show the size comparison between the Everywhere Crossbody Bag and Everywhere Belt Bag.

Note- There is no buckle on the Everywhere Crossbody Bag.

Size Everywhere Belt Bag - 7.5" X 2" X 5"
Everywhere Crossbody Bag - 7" X 1.5" X 4"

To recap- The Everywhere Crossbody Bag has the better strap, however the size is much smaller, too small for my needs. The zipper quality is poor (but maybe it's just the one I received). There is no back pocket on the bag. There is no buckle. The price is also $10 more at $48 (for now, there are rumors the Everywhere Belt bag will increase to $44). If the bag was the same size as the EBB, I might have kept it and tried using wax on the zipper, but the mini size is a deal breaker for me.

Check out my video review.

That's it for me! Hope you all have an amazing start to August! Please feel free to join me in my no-buy month, the more the merrier!

  2. Thanks for another great bag review with video, Leslie! I wish LLL made the crossbody version the same size as the belt bag one. The small size is a deal breaker to me as well.

I was wondering why Everywhere Belt Bags are no longer available online. LLL is probably going to launch new ones with a higher price tag. :(

    1. Hi Andrea! EBBs are so popular right now, a lot of them are being bought by resellers. Very cut throat these days. Snagging one is almost impossible. But I do think EBBs prices are going up. I heard the new price is $44 for Canada, and probably similar for the US as well.

  3. Leslie your right cross body bag is better then belt bag because size matters and strap placement. Buckle on a strap is advantage easier to remove and put on. Fanny pack belt bag isn't appealing.
Looked years ago for over the shoulder strap bag that is big enough to carry water bottle and sandwich for work. Found it on ebay made of cotton canvas materials and faux leather.
Backpack is too big belt bag clumsy looking. Across the shoulder chest bag is ideal.

Suppose the size of the bag over the shoulder is meant for car FOB, card wallet, phone. This has to be marketed to someone wearing leggings compression shorts with no pockets doing errands etc... The nano pouch attached with carabiner is to clunky for someone needs to move quickly. The constant pendulum movement hitting your back can be annoying. Why the other nano attachment if the other bag can have outer pockets for small stuff coins etc..?

Lululemon makes nice styled bag color works well with the outfit. Yet the quality of materials like the zipper being low quality is surprising.
Bags are very popular with the younger demographic.

    Nice GG card holder..

Your so right visiting the beach only have only few weekends available if the weather cooperates. Sunsets faster less light in evenings. Sad part of the summer for me knowing beach time is quickly coming to end.
Outdoor Pool time no luck visiting one this summer. Always cycling passing one only going to the beach instead. Hope you can visit a pool for that seasonal change reviews this summers beach or pool clothing.

    1. Hi Mack! Totally, the carabiner would get very annoying with the swinging back and forth. I would just get a bigger bag at that point.

The rough zipper was very surprising. I do hope it was just mine and not across the board. Thanks, I do like designer small leather goods. They're good investments especially if you use them everyday. I have had some that hold up for ten years before they need to be replaced.

I am going to try and hit the pool this month as much as possible. The weather these days are scattered thunderstorms which isn't great. =(
Enjoy the last days of summer!

We tried HelloFresh for the past two months - Here's our review

Hi everyone! This post is written by my husband. Some of you may know he does all the cooking around here. 😅 We noticed we were spending a lot of money on food and eating out every month and wanted to see if a meal kit service would save us money and time. After looking at a few meal kit services we settled on HelloFresh. Without further ado, here's Jared's review. (Original post date Aug 2022). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As you may have seen from Leslie's Instagram stories for the past 2 months, we've been using HelloFresh for most of our meals. The main drivers for this were to better track what we eat and because on the advice of my doctor, I should be eating more home cooked meals. Before I go any further, it should be noted that my original career path was in culinary arts, but twists and turns in life changed that. So I do have formal cooking experience. A little background story. Over the years, I've developed
