Fit Review! Aritzia The Little Puff Iridescent Mulberry

It's almost Lunar New Year! We have been cleaning up a storm since we need all the luck we can get. Although my mom told me those born in the year of the Rooster (me) will have a really amazing year. I also do not wash my hair on LNY since it's another tradition. If you do wash your hair, you are potentially washing away all the good luck. When I was younger I really didn't pay too much attention to these things, I was a teenage rebel, but now I'm more inclined to go along with these traditions.

This review is going to be short and sweet. I have to get back to cleaning! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and wear size XS in Aritzia. I also wear size 4 in Lululemon tops.

Last year I bought The Super Puff Shorty in the same shade Iridescent Mulberry and just love the color so much that I wanted it in a lighter jacket that's more suitable for Atlanta weather. The Little Puff jacket is absolutely perfect for the mild souther winters. It offers warmth without the bulk. It's great for 40 degree weather, and if I layer a sweatshirt underneath I can even wear it in the low to mid 30 temperatures. If it gets colder than that, I will break out The Super Puff Shorty.

I'm wearing size XS and it fits perfectly in the shoulders. I find Aritzia to be very petite friendly. The sleeves aren't too long and the length hits at low hip and offers more coverage than The Super Puff Shorty. This jacket is packable and you can even wear an oversized hoodie on top of this. The color is amazing. I will wear pretty much anything that is iridescent. 😍 What's even better? This jacket is on sale for only $80!

That's it for me! Hope you all have a fantastic start to the week. For those getting battered with snowstorms, I hope you're all staying safe and warm out there.

  1. Thanks for the review! I've been sitting on an Aritzia gift card for a while and finally used it to order this jacket. Was especially pumped to see it was also $80 on the Canadian site! Now just hoping it gets here in time for my ski trip. This will be perfect for apres ski!

  3. This is sooo cute! I’ve been eyeing this one as well as the Pillow Puff since I hate seeing feathers escape my Pack it Down Again Jacket. Have you noticed any feathers coming out? The only detail that bothers me on both are the cuffs. I wish they were longer.

    1. I haven't yet noticed but only had it for a couple of weeks. But I assume there will be some feather leakage eventually. The cuffs could have more length but since the sleeves are long enough, it doesn't bother me much. I also like that they are loose and not super tight, they go over my apple watch easily. I like the Pillow Puff too, but it's more of a bomber style and I like the puffer style more. =)

  4. Oh this is so cute, Leslie! The color reminds me of LLL’s iridescent Heathered Mulberry (?) puffer which you returned! I’ve checked out Aritzia’s Super Puff Collection on their website many times but every time I was overwhelmed with the number of styles and colors offered. :D. So glad you got this puffer on sale. It’s really a steal!

    1. Hi Andrea! Yes it was called Heathered Plumful. I still love that color and think of it but this Heathered Mulberry is quite close. I'm very pleased! =D

  5. The fit is perfect! I love the fit of Aritzia jackets and hoodies! They fit so much better than my LLL ones. If LLL drops a Scuba Full Zip in a color I love I will try one though...

    1. Agreed, I am surprised at how petite friendly Aritzia is. Will have to check out their website more often.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
