Fit Review Friday! Alo Yoga Faux Fur Foxy Jacket, Micro Sherpa Solstice Coverup, Faux Fur Urbanite Bomber

 

Happy Friday! Alo Yoga just had a 20% site wide sale and I'm pretty sure there will be another sale for Black Friday. If you do want to try and snag one of these items I would just bookmark it. Some of you may recall I've tried the Foxy Sherpa Jacket a couple of times and ultimately returned because of the super long sleeves that gave me Michelin vibes. Well, I couldn't pass up trying on the Faux Fur version in hopes the sleeves are shorter.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and wear size XS in Alo Yoga and I typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops. 

Faux Fur Foxy Jacket Cranberry Size XS

This jacket only comes in four colors at the moment- Black, Ivory, Cranberry, and Dark Emerald. I always try and stay clear of dark colors so Black was eliminated. Ivory simply because I'm a klutz also is off the list. I'm not exactly a green colored gal so that left Cranberry. Let me tell you, this is bright red like Christmas-Santa-Holidaze celebration all in one. It doesn't get more merry than Cranberry red. 

The faux fur is incredibly soft. It feels like mink when I run my hands over it. It feels like the real deal. The quality is amazing to say the least. The cut is exactly the same as the Foxy Sherpa Jacket so my dreams for shorter sleeves are shattered. 😅 I ultimately returned this but if next year, Alo Yoga decides to release this jacket in a rich camel color, I think I would order it again. Long sleeves and all! 

This giant furry hood is removable.

I hope you all enjoy the rest of these photos because I did take a ton. The inside is lined in luxurious matching red satin. The oversized fit is still on trend and will it continue into next year? I guess we'll find out. I can guarantee this jacket will be back in 2022 though. The price tag is $288 which is pricey. It's $100 more than the sister sherpa jacket. Is it worth the difference? The faux fur is so much softer, I am leaning towards yes. Of course, wait for the Black Friday sale. As of right now, all sizes are available in every color except the Emerald Green. Emerald Green is completely sold out. I did not see that coming! 

Next up we have the Micro Sherpa Solstice Coverup. This only comes in two colors right now, Black and Ivory. Since black is always not an option for me (because orange kitty fur gets everywhere) so I went with Ivory. The micro sherpa is very short and plushy which makes it very cozy.

The fit however does nothing for my figure. I'm wearing size XS but it just looks a bit frumpy on my frame. The sleeves are baggy and long as usual from Alo Yoga. The band at the hem was loose fitting and hit at my hips. I think if they made this in XXS, it would have been more flattering. This half zip features a mock neck and kangaroo pockets. 

This was an easy return for me. Next up we have the Faux Fur Urbanite Bomber in black. This is only available in black but I really wanted to try this one since it's lined in faux fur. I could not resist! I had high hopes for this one.

Unfortunately the sleeves on this bomber are even worse than the sleeves on the Foxy Jackets. 😳😤 The fit is very oversized. I didn't mind the look from the back, but the sides and the front isn't a good look for petites. I'm glad I tried it though. 

The inside faux fur lining is really cozy though. One thing to note the body is lined but not the sleeves.
