Upload! October 5th 2021

I'm back in Atlanta! After a long weekend of gluttony and eating sweets I am back to my daily workouts and drinking plenty of green tea. How are you all doing this week so far? Looks like there is a pretty decent upload today! Loving all the Pink Lychee. The Wunder Puff Cropped Jacket is tempting, but I already bought a new Aritzia Super Puff Shorty last year that I've barely worn! 😓

Leave me a comment below if you'd like to see a fit review of something.

(Ahhhh I'm kinda tempted! I don't NEED another jacket though!)

(also Capture Blue)

(I think I like this better than the Reversible Fleece Jacket I reviewed.)

(Love this color!)

😍😍

(This color is so pretty, even I'm temped!)

  1. hi Leslie! Welcome back to Atlanta! Glad to hear you were well fed and enjoyed Nashville!

I really like the Swiftly LS Race Length Water Surface Black Granite Wisteria Purple, but I already have the Swiftly LS in Grape Thistle, so I probably shouldn't buy this one too!

On another note, I finally received the Athleta Girl Polartec Tights. The size L fits like Lululemon Size 4, but with a 26" inseam and nicely fitted ankles. I don't mind the slightly long inseam since the ankles fit well. The tights are very warm and soft. I don't know if they will last though. The material feels like it will snag easily and likely prone to pilling. May be I will try the women's Rainier tights and see if I like those more. Have you tried either and do you prefer one over another?

    1. Hi Karen!

I have not tried the Rainier Tights, but those look like they would hold up better. The Girl Polartec Tight is labeled Beyond Soft and anything with that label tends to pill in my experience. Super soft fabric always comes with a caveat.

    2. Good to know. I think I'll give the Rainier tights/joggers a try then! Thanks, Leslie!

  2. Yay! Finally wunder puff cropped in pink lychee. I was debating as I already have a similar jacket in similar color in a different brand. But after seeing Lotsa smaller sizes have sold out online, I pulled the trigger 😅

I'm interested in the ebb to Street LS and side cinch LS crew. Would you mind doing a review on those items, Leslie? The side cinch has an interesting detail but might not be petite friendly... The ebb to Street LS - looks pretty cropped online?

    1. Let me know how you like the Wunder Puff! I love the color Pink Lychee.

Okay I will see what I can do with your request. I'm hoping maybe they will release more colors in the Ebb To Street because those light colors are never flattering on me and I try and stay away from black as much as possible because of my many different colored cats. LOL. I will probably try the Side Cinch LS in the black just because I think it does look best. I'm going to try a size down. Also, why are all the models wearing a size 6 lately?

    2. I was interested in the side cinch in ocean air and thought about a size down as well but unsure of the length...if it's not any longer than the back in action LS, it might be ok! You looked pretty good in that LS in your last review :)

I think size 6 is like the model floor size for the "regular" models lol. Oh right, I guess where's the plus size models? Actually, I want to see some petite models!

    3. Okay thanks! I will place an order for Side Cinch in Ocean Air. Hah, until they have some petite models, I guess I'll volunteer LOL! I'll switch the Ebb To Street LS to black, I'm sticking to my usual size 6. Hopefully it won't make me look like a sausage. =)

  3. Pink Lychee is pretty but I can't visualize myself wearing that color LOL. I kept going back to your fit review on Wunder Puff jacket last year and regretted for not getting the jacket in beautiful Heathered Plumful. It really is a unique and pretty color!

  4. I love that blue linen 1/2 zip but not the $98 price! Nothing for me! It's too hot to wear puffers here. I like the look of the textured half zip but nothing I must have. I have to say I love the fit of my Aritzia pullovers more than my LLL. Even the oversized stuff is so cute!

    1. Hi Janessa, yes I agree it doesn't really get cold enough to wear puffers here either. I maybe get to break it out a handful of times a year. I need to look at Aritzia more often!

  5. Hello Leslie, I recently discovered your blog and your reviews have been so helpful as we are similar in sizing. I am new to Lululemon so quick question for you - how do you look up the new uploads? I don't see any "new arrivals" or "sort by most recent" or things like that on their website or the app. Am I missing something basic?!

    1. Hi Sarah, uploads start around 2:30 pm eastern time on Tuesdays. It can take a couple of hours for everything to load. On the landing page there is a link that says Women's What's New. There's also a drop down on the right tab where you can sort by New Arrivals. On the app it's also on the the main page that shows Shop What's New. Hope that helps!!

We tried HelloFresh for the past two months - Here's our review

Hi everyone! This post is written by my husband. Some of you may know he does all the cooking around here. 😅 We noticed we were spending a lot of money on food and eating out every month and wanted to see if a meal kit service would save us money and time. After looking at a few meal kit services we settled on HelloFresh. Without further ado, here's Jared's review. (Original post date Aug 2022). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As you may have seen from Leslie's Instagram stories for the past 2 months, we've been using HelloFresh for most of our meals. The main drivers for this were to better track what we eat and because on the advice of my doctor, I should be eating more home cooked meals. Before I go any further, it should be noted that my original career path was in culinary arts, but twists and turns in life changed that. So I do have formal cooking experience. A little background story. Over the years, I've developed

Review! Lululemon's Large Everywhere Belt Bag Size Comparison Plus Video!

Happy Friday! I can't believe it's almost Halloween! I actually have a dentist appointment on Halloween. One of my molars chipped and needs to be filled in. Anyway, today I have a belt bag size comparison review for you all! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms. Review! Everywhere Belt Bag Extended Strap VS Everywhere Belt Bag Original

Happy May! Can't believe summer is right around the corner. I'm looking forward to visiting my family later this month. It's been nearly a year since I've been back to NYC. I'm already thinking about all the dim sum I'm going to cram in the 10 days I'm there! 😆  Today I have a review of the new  Everywhere Belt Bag Extended Strap  compared to the original  Everywhere Belt Bag  that is slowly being phased out. 😢  **** Update - The original Everywhere Belt Bag has been phased out completely. The website has removed the Extended Strap from the name. The updated version is now called the Everywhere Belt Bag!**** For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.
