Fit Review! Vuori Boyfriend Joggers

My mind can hardly believe we are entering the last week of September! This year is flying by and nearing the end of 2021. Soon it'll be Halloween and then the holidays will be quickly upon us. It's just mind boggling to me. The last year and a half have been a blur as I'm sure it's the same for most of you. With that, jogger season is in full swing and I've got Vuori's latest version, the Boyfriend Jogger.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Typically wear size XS or XXS in Vuori. I also wear size 4 in Lululemon bottoms.

You all know I love Vuori's Performance Joggers and have reviewed them many times. I think I have at least six pairs by now. So of course when they released the Boyfriend Jogger I had to write a fit review. As of this post, Vuori only offers size XS through XL. I assume eventually they will offer size XXS in the Boyfriend Jogger.

Let's go over some details. The length of these are a couple of inches longer than the Performance Joggers. They measure 26.5 inches in length. My inseam is a bit shorter so no surprise that there is extra fabric. The fit is overall loose and billowy. There is a lot of room in the leg. The fabric is the same DreamKnit fabric on the Performance Joggers. Super soft to touch.

The good news is the cuffs are small. If I wear a few inches taller these would work, but I'm afraid if you're on the shorter spectrum like myself, these are just too baggy overall. There are a couple of other differences on the Boyfriend Jogger. The waistband is similar, but the drawstring is on the inside. I'm not a huge fan of that because I feel like it adds bulk to the waist.

You could pull the drawstring out so it sits on top of the waistband, but I think it kind of looks funny. The waist is mid-rise and sits on my belly button. I'm not sure if going down a size would work better just because the length would still be too long. For me, these are a pass. The Performance Joggers are going to be hard to beat.

Hope you guys find this review helpful. Have a wonderful start to the week!

  1. hi Leslie! Thanks for the review! I agree that the Performance joggers are a better length for petites and I prefer the tapered ankles too! Have a great week!

    1. Hi Karen! I knew they would be too big overall, but felt like I had to post a review!

  2. This is the exact color and fit I really wanted to try from them. Thanks for reviewing it! I think they're much too baggy! I don't like the drawstring on the inside either.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
