Fit Review Friday! Naked Cashmere Joni, Anita, Lilia

Happy Friday! Fall is definitely in the air because I've been looking at Naked Cashmere's September Collection. Cozy sweaters and pullovers are going to be my work from home outfit for the next few months. My office was planning on re-opening after Labor Day, but with the Delta cases on the up tick, they decided to push it back till mid-October, but I think honestly, we won't be going back until next year.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. I wear size XS in Naked Cashmere. I also wear size 4 in Lululemon tops.

I actually purchased this Joni cashmere pullover hoodie in Sandy earlier this year and love it so much I decided I also needed to get it in Storm Gray. It's a light weight cashmere at 286 grams and feels super soft. I've purchased cashmere from J.Crew and Banana Republic and I can say that sometimes I have found their cashmere to be itchy which is weird because cashmere should not be itchy at all.

I'm wearing size XS and it is slightly oversized which I prefer. It's the perfect combination of athleisurewear and cashmere that emanates luxury. This outfit is what I am looking forward to wearing this fall.

(Currently sold out, but Light Stone is another fantastic neutral.)

The Anita crew pullover is made of cotton cashmere (85% cotton and 15% cashmere) and it's easy on the wallet (compared to 100% cashmere) but doesn't compromise the quality or the softness. I'm wearing size XS in Cappuccino and it's a beautiful shade of camel. It's very rich in color. Cotton cashmere has a beautiful drape as well.

also wearing Athleta Seasoft Straight Pant Size XS Petite

The hem hits at the high hip, the sleeves are just a tad long but look great pushed up. I think this is a petite friendly top that looks best tucked in the front to create a effortless drape. Cappuccino is currently sold out, but I also love the Light Stone color which was my second choice. As an alternative, J.Crew has a beautiful cotton cashmere pullover in Heather Caramel (on sale $68.50) it's like half the price of Naked Cashmere. I reviewed it in black and wear size XXS. There's also a matching jogger which I love. To be honest, between the two I think J.Crew definitely gives you the best bang for your buck and it's also machine washable!

Last but not least we have the Lilia relaxed crewneck also made of cotton cashmere. I am wearing the Light Stone color in size small. I decided to size up in this top because of the cropped length. It measures 17.5 inches long with short sleeves that come up to my elbow. This also has a raw hem that rolls slightly.

This top is perfect for super casual days made for lounging around/running errands. It's slightly boxy and would look great paired with black leggings. It's a nice option for transitional weather. I've already worn this piece on date night and love it.

Out of the three pieces, my favorite is definitely the Anita cotton cashmere crewneck.  That's it for me! Hope you all have a great weekend!

  1. hi Leslie, Thanks for the fit review! My favourite on you may be the Lilia relaxed crewneck. I like the boxy, cropped cut and angled seams of the sleeves! The Anita crew pullover is also very flattering on you!

    1. Hi Karen! Thank you! I a won over by cotton cashmere. I think I'll just switch to that instead of pure cashmere from now on.

    2. I agree! I have pure cashmere scarves, but for sweaters, I prefer cotton cashmere because they're machine washable!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
