Fit Review Friday! Align Reversible Bra, Ready To Rulu Pullover, Ready To Rulu Jogger Crop

Happy Friday!! It's officially fall. Out here in Atlanta it even hit 52 degrees this morning! Brrrrrr. I personally love chilly weather. Give me all the hoodies and fleece joggers and I'm in heaven. Snuggle up with my cats on the couch and it's a perfect day to me.

Today I have for you a lot of Lunar Rock Diamond Dye. I love this pattern but maybe, there can be too much of it. 😆😂 I did place another order this week and I hope to have another Lululemon review up next Friday.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.

Black/Le Tigre Camo - currently on sale $39

Someone had asked about this bra a long long time ago and I decided to give it a proper review. I'm wearing my usual size 6 in Lululemon bras. (I'm a 34A) This bra really does make me flat. There are no bra inserts so if it's a solid color vs a pattern, be prepared to see some nips. The diamond dye does a pretty good job at camouflaging though. True to size and the Nulu is very soft. Personally I find the extra length underneath the bust to be a bit compressive against my ribs and I don't love that feeling. This is reversible and the other side is solid graphite gray. Unfortunately this is a return for me, but otherwise it's a cute bra if you don't mind looking flat and possibly showing nips though the fabric. I am also pairing it with Align Crop 17" in DD Lunar Rock True Navy. I haven't 100% decided if I will keep the crops. I am leaning towards keeping them since the other items in this review are also being returned and I really want something in this color way.

Alright, so this outfit is somewhat of a hot mess! 😂😆 I decided to try the Ready To Rulu set in Diamond Dye Lunar Rock True Navy. What do you know, I kind of look like a mash up of a really bad painter's outfit and possibly 70s/80s look? I can't decide which era represents this best.

Does this look as awful as I think it does?

I was having a hard time with the lighting so the colors look a little too warm in some of these photos, but you should be able to get a general idea. I've reviewed Ready to Rulu Pullover in the past and it runs a little big which is why I decided to size down this time around. I am wearing size 2 and it's a much better fit. If you're curious to see the size 4 on me, here's a link to my review.

I've also reviewed Ready to Rulu Jogger Crop in a previous post as well and here's a link to my review. I remember it being very large in the cuff and I wanted to see if Lululemon had updated the fit since then. As you can see, they have not! I sized up to a 6 to see if it would give a longer length and maybe I could pull it off as a full length jogger but the answer is no, nope, don't even try it kids! It kinda doesn't look as bad if I roll up the cuff, but it's still not great. The length of the joggers measure 24 inches.

The jogger crop also looks a lot better with a black top than a full on matching set. Going up a size was actually really comfortable in the waist and hip but overall, I didn't think the crops worked for me. Nothing beats my Vuori and Athleta joggers. Lulu needs to bring Asia fit to the US already!

The waist sits underneath my belly button. I did find it to be much more comfortable than the size 4, from what I can recall. It's definitely a looser fit overall though.

That's it for me! Hope you enjoyed my hilarious disaster outfit review and have a great weekend!!

Shop if you dare-

In case you missed it, there was a pretty good WMTM update this week!

  1. I huge thank you to you for doing this fit review! I was interested in both items but guess my wallet is safe! :)

I was hoping that the collar of the Ready to Rulu Pullover would stand up like it does on the website photo but apparently the material is too soft. I would love to get a french terry top with a funnel collar.

So sad with the jogger cos it has so much potential and the print is gorgeous. I also agree that Lululemon should start offering Asia or petite fit!

Wonder if you know but Lululemon just lauched a Team Canada line.

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  2. Hi Andrea! The collar to Ready to Rulu Pullover is pretty soft. You can style it that way but my guess is it wouldn't stay up for too long.

That's really cool. Will you be ordering anything Team Canada?

    1. I would’ve ordered the Sweat Pullover Hoodie if only the nice pattern was in blue or grey tone. Not a green person at all! To be honest, unless you’re part of Team Canada, who would like to wear something with a big CAN print? :D

  4. hi Leslie, Thanks for the fit review! Lunar Rock Diamond Dye is very pretty! It's too bad that the ankles of the Ready to Rulu Crops are so big! Otherwise, the length would've worked!

It's so cool that the Canadian team will wear Lululemon for the 2022 Olympics and Paralympics! I read that more Team Canada products will be released next month! I'm looking forward to more Dark Sport Red and Crimson items!

    Have a great weekend!

    1. Hi Karen! The huge ankles really boggle my mind. Don't know what they are thinking. Not everyone is 5 foot 9.

I'll be interested to see what else they come out with for Team Canada!

  5. I've always wanted to get the align reversible bra but I would look completely flat! I think the DD set looks too busy and would look better if the top were fitted to show off your figure! I love the DD pants with the black top. Too bad the ankles are baggy! Thanks for the review!

    1. Hi Janessa! I am pretty flat there too! I love DD but neither of these worked for me. Disappointed but on to the next.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
