Coach Pride 2021 Turnlock Clutch 20 Rainbow Quilting

Happy Friday! It's also July. I can't believe it. Was it just me or did June fly by? Pride month just wrapped up and this Coach bag was part of their 2021 Pride Collection. This is a super cute rainbow quilted clutch that feels as soft as it looks. It reminds me of those puffy jackets I used to have back in the day where I just want to squeeze it! 😆 I ordered this from Coach because I just had to see it in person.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.

This bag is small, and it's definitely on the tiny side. It's best used as a clutch for a fun night out. I would not want to use this bag as an everyday bag. The inside is just too tiny to fit everything I need everyday. The dimensions are 8 inches wide by 4.5 inches high and 3 inches deep. The rainbow colors are not quite as vibrant as I thought they would be. They almost look a little bit pastel in these photos. The red is more of a magenta and the purple is kind of a medium lavender. So if you're looking for true red or deep vibrant colors, this may disappoint you. I will say this is a gorgeous bag and as usual, the Coach quality is there.

This bag does have an adjustable and removable crossbody strap which is very handy, but it's not as easy to remove or add back on. I wish it had dog clips like my other Coach bags but this one is more complicated which I'll go into more detail later in this post.

The hangtag is super cute with each letter a different color of the rainbow. The Nappa leather quilting is very soft and poofy. The bag has a turnlock closure which can be hard to use with one hand. The actual turnlock is pretty small even for me. On the back of the bag is a pocket but it is tiny. It will not hold a phone. I would say it would be best used for some bills or receipts.

The top handle on the bag I received was slightly uneven. I think it was bent during shipment. It did not come inside a gift box, it was shipped in a box not much bigger than the bag. It's a little unfortunate they were not more careful with the packaging which is surprising for Coach.

The bag does not have any feet and it is quite small measuring 3 inches deep.

The inside is lined with beautiful burgundy leather.

There is one inside pocket with a zipper.

Here is how the strap attaches to the bag. There are two loops underneath the flap where the strap goes through. It did take a little time to adjust the bag strap the way I liked it. If you're in a hurry, this would not be quick and easy.

So what does fit inside the bag? I could squeeze in my key holder and my two card cases but not much else. Getting my iPhone 12 Pro would be a challenge. If I wanted to fit my phone in there I would have to remove an item. Or I could place one of the card holders in the back pocket, but I didn't feel like it was super secure and safe to do so.

There is one main compartment and a smaller pocket for a thin card case or something similar in size.

A bit risky? Maybe.

Verdict? It is super cute. I was very tempted to keep it as a limited edition collector's piece, but my rational side won and said it was too much effort to have to think about what can fit, how I could get things to fit and the shoulder strap not being easy to remove and re-attach was ultimately the reason why I returned this cutie! It does make a great display piece though.

That's it for me! If you're in the US, have a great 4th of July! I'll be back on Monday with something new.

  1. The bag is super cute! It doesn’t look that small on you probably because of the quilted puffy look. Colors are not as vibrant as expected but they are very soothing to me. Too bad it’s not functional but if you have money to spare, this will be a good collector item! :D

    1. Agreed Andrea! The inside is definitely much smaller than it looks. I almost wanted to keep it as a display piece!

  2. This bag is super cute and didn't know Coach was doing Pride Month items. The quality looked awesome in the photos compared to lots of things they sell these days at the Coach Outlets. Thanks for sharing this cutie!

    1. Hi Jean! Sometimes the items from the website end up at the Coach Outlets if they do not sell out. I've gotten some nice 1941 items for half the price!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
