Fit Review! Rothy's Loafers Indigo Cloud & The Portfolio Indigo Sky

Happy Friday! To those celebrating this weekend- Happy Mother's Day! If you have furbabies - you deserve to be celebrated as well! I know it firsthand how rambunctious and crazy four teenage cats can be. 😅 Also for those of you interested in my second Pfizer shot and how it went- here's a photo of my Covid arm.

Lovely! 😖

I had very mild side effects for the most part. I was super tired and groggy the day after, to the point where I took a 30 minute nap during my lunch break. Then after I ate dinner I took a Tylenol and slept for 12 hours straight. I woke up today feeling much better, but my arm is definitely red and itchy. There is a slight lump where I got the shot and my armpit is also pretty sore. Definitely a strange feeling. I'm hoping this will go away soon. Other than that, it went well. I can't really complain.

Let's get on to the review! I've been meaning to try a pair of Rothy's Loafers for a while now. They look really comfortable and I like the almond shape of the shoe. Normally I wear a size 5 in The Points. I also chose a size 5 in The Loafers, but turns out these run a little narrow and I actually need to size up to a 5.5.

I still can't get over that these shoes are knitted from plastic water bottles. It's pretty amazing. I also am a big fan of these being washable. They really do look like new every time I wash my Rothy's. That alone is worth the money. So even though these are a bit too small for me, I can tell these shoes are super comfortable. I definitely will add a pair of Loafers to my Rothy's collection one day. The color Indigo Cloud is a light to medium blue. While they are very pretty, I didn't love them. I am going to wait for a fun print or pattern. I also have tried the Kids Loafers. There is a slightly different shape in the toe, the kids version is a bit wider and has less of an almond shape. I have a more detailed review here. I also fit a size 4 in kids. The price is also $100 less! If you have small feet, it's worth trying.

Signature double heel stripe.

I do wish Rothy's shoes had more arch support but I suppose you can always take out the Rothy's insole and replace it with a Dr Scholl's insert or something similar. I also ordered The Portfolio in Indigo Sky because wouldn't it be cute to have a matching shoe and accessory? They aren't exactly the same shade of blue, but it's pretty close.

The Portfolio measures almost 10 inches high and 14.5 inches in length. It can fit up to a 14 inch laptop. The circles you see are the magnets to keep The Portfolio closed. There is an extra front pocket in yellow to stash smaller objects like your phone. It really is cute. I just wish it was a tad bigger because I have the 15 inch MacBook. 😐

The back.

This is my 15 inch MacBook and yes, those are Hello Kitty stickers. 😂

So close!

While I do love Rothy's and I am a big fan of their products, both of these ended up going back. I would have kept The Portfolio if it fit my MacBook but I really didn't see what else I could possibly use it for. It could fit a notepad or maybe a iPad Pro but I don't really use either of those. Maybe one day I'll size down? That's it for me! Hope everyone has a fun filled weekend!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
