Review! All Night Festival Bag Micro

Happy Friday! Update on the bedroom, it is coming along... we're mainly waiting for the new bed to arrive and then we have to decide on new nightstands? There's a small chance we might want to keep our old ones but we'll see how it looks with the new bed first before we make a decision. How is everyone doing? Vaccines are starting to roll out to general population. I'm on the list at a few places hoping to get a spot soon.

Today's review is the All Night Festival Bag Micro in deco pink. It just looked so cute on the model I decided to take a chance on one.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically a size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.

Also wearing Catch A Breath Hoodie (old) similar here

This is when I first got the bag back in January when I reviewed the Full Flourish Pullover and Beyond The Studio 7/8 Jogger. I thought it looked really cute with this outfit.

All Night Festival Bag Micro on the left vs Everywhere Belt Bag on the right.

They look really similar in size but the Everywhere Belt Bag holds a lot more which I will get into later on in this post. I have both in the same color, deco pink. Let's take a look at the details of this bag, to see why it costs as much as it does. It is $68 at full price while the Everywhere Belt bag is $38 at full price. The All Night Festival Bag has a lot more compartments, a leather pull tab and an O ring.

Leather pull tab for the outside pocket.

O ring for the zippered compartment flap.

This bag is three main compartments. The top zippered pocket which fits small items like receipts or cash/coins. I actually find the big zippered compartment very handy. I like to keep my facemask in there. It keeps it separated from everything else which is probably a good idea. The only thing is the curved zipper can be a little tricky. It's not as easy to open and close if you're in a rush.

As you can see it is a really deep pocket and can fit a decent amount as long as it's a flat item and not bulky.

This is the main compartment where I keep my card cases and phone and key holder.

Snap closure.

Can hold my my two card cases, my key holder and my iPhone 12 Pro- but barely. My face mask goes in the large zippered compartment. It doesn't hold much more than that. Meanwhile the Everywhere Belt Bag can fit all of this and more. I do wish the All Night Festival Bag in the micro was just a smidge bigger all around. If it was, I would definitely get another color. It is much cuter than the Everywhere Belt Bag, definitely more stylish. Between the two, EBB gives you more bang for your buck. If you only carry very minimal things, face mask, keys, phone and one card case then the All Night Festival Bag was made for you. I sometimes struggle with the four items I like to carry with the All Night Festival Bag. I will link my review to the Everywhere Belt bag below.

No pocket on the back.

The strap is also a lot thinner on the All Night Festival Bag which makes it look a little more sleek. I like that a lot actually. The Everywhere Belt Bag strap can feel a bit cumbersome at times. Let me know what you think. Do you have both bags? Which do you prefer? That's it for me! Have a great weekend everybody!

  1. hi Leslie~ Thanks for the review! I was tempted to get the All Night Festival Bag Micro in honey lemon because I love the bright yellow! Now that I've read your review, I'm glad I didn't. I find the Everywhere belt bag a bit too small for me and was hoping the All Night Festival Bag Micro would be more spacious. I usually carry a mid-size wallet, keys, phone and sunglasses case. I think the 5L size will be more suitable for my needs. Have a great weekend!

  2. I've been wanting to try the all night festival bag micro. I use my EBB all the time and I have the original festival bags I and II so I don't feel like I need the micro. I wish the ANFB Micro had a back pocket!! Love your review

    1. If it had a back pocket for a phone, I think that would have been perfect.

  3. Thanks for the review, Leslie! I have 4 original Festive Bags which I love and use all the time, especially during the pandemic as they are easy to wipe clean. Was tempted to try the All Night Micro one cos it looks so cute on the model but glad you did a review. It would be too small for my daily essentials.

On the other hand, I’m loving my On the Beat Belt Bag. It is very roomy (4.5 L) yet looks chic and compact. Wish Lululemon didn’t discontinue it and I would get more colors. The new The Rest is Written Belt Bag looks too bulky and the volume is only 3L.

    1. There is a 3L Festival Bag which may be another option, sometimes I think the 5L is too big. I wish they made a 1.5 L Festival Bag, sounds like that would be perfect since it is bigger then the Everywhere Belt Bag which I love and use all the time and I think that's 1L.

I agree the Rest is Written Belt Bag looks a little too clunky.

  4. Thanks for this very helpful review. I was contemplating but read on the product detail that the magnet could interfere with your electronic devices and realised it could be detrimental to my mobile phone. Add that to your review about its size, I think I have to pass on this. I have 7 EBBs and I love them all... though I have only used 3 so far. I think I will stick to the EBB. But I do agree that they should make the micro a little bigger so it would be perfect. I have 1 Festival bag in the regular size and use it all the time. I was hoping to get something a bit bigger to fit a sweater in. Guess there is no perfect size so far apart from the mini city adventurer backpack.

    1. Hi Jasmine! I still have my 3 EBBs and actually just sold my All Night Festival Bag Micro. I keep eyeing the Mini City Adventurer Backpack, but keep hoping for a color I'd like. So far nothing has been my kind of color... so I'll keep waiting.

  5. I love your card holders with the butterfly print! Where did you find them?

    1. Thank you! Those are a few years old from Alexander McQueen. You can try resale sites but they're pretty hard to find at this point.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...

Review! Lululemon's Large Everywhere Belt Bag Size Comparison Plus Video!

Happy Friday! I can't believe it's almost Halloween! I actually have a dentist appointment on Halloween. One of my molars chipped and needs to be filled in. It's a tiny chip that I didn't even notice until my dentist pointed it out to me during my last visit. I'm not looking forward to it at all since I will need local anesthesia. Anyway, today I have a belt bag size comparison review for you all! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.
