Upload! January 26th 2021 & WMTM Update

This upload was rather disappointing! I was hoping to see some more Lunar New Year items, but maybe this is all we're getting. 😕 Leave me a comment below if there is something you'd like to see a fit review of. I'm taking requests!

(I kinda like this color, maybe we will see this in a zip up hoodie? Not that I need any more hoodies...)

(This is just um... weird.)

(This is very nice for WFH tops.)

(This is kinda cute.)

Lululemon has been breaking from their usual Thursday WMTM updates to randomly dropping new mark downs throughout the week it seems. I ended up buying the special edition Ebb To Street Tank Shine in both dark olive and black. They're true to size and I took the same size as my regular Ebb To Street Bra. I love anything shiny and metallic and the silver threading makes this tank just a bit extra. It's almost too nice to work out in, but I am going to wear it out casually as well. The fabric feels just as soft as my other Ebb To Street Tanks even with the metallic threading. I did not find them scratchy at all.

For those who do not like the logos, they are very dark and muted on the back of the tank. Here's my fit review for this tank in a previous post.

A few noteworthy mentions-

Sit In Lotus Wrap $89

  1. The Ebb to Street Tanks look very nice in your pics! These colours will be easy to pair with many outfits! I was tempted by the RTR Jogger in neon tweed, but talked myself out of it because I have enough joggers. I treated myself to a pair of Vuori Elevation Leggings this week. The material feels exactly like their Performance Joggers, super soft with little to no compression. I like that they're thicker than the new align material, good for lounging at home on cold days.

    1. Ohhh I've been looking at another pair of Vuori Lux Harem pant, they look really comfy. Good to know the Elevation leggings are great too!

  2. Not interested in anything from this upload at all.

My jogger order arrived and the OTF jogger is a keeper! Surprisingly the length is perfect with the cuffs resting at my ankles and it’s really comfy like my OTF 7/8 pants! The legs and cuffs are a tad loose but the rise would be too tight if I size down from 2 to 0. Overall very happy with my purchase!

The Beyond the Studio Jogger 7/8, on the other hand, is a bit disappointing. I love how the size 4 looks on you but size 2 fits tight and is a bit short on my 5’3” frame. I know it’s supposed to be cropped length but I was hoping that the cuffs would reach my ankles. Sad cos the ruchings on the side are really cute.

    1. Wow I'm so jealous the OTF joggers work for you. Lucky! At least one pair worked out for you, that's not bad at all. Also good to know that if the length works for me, it will be a little short for you. =)

  3. Nothing for me. I was excited to see the Ebb to Street Tank Shine on WMTM. TBH I was expecting $29 or $39. I must be spoiled by Lulu's deep discounts during BF and BD, haha.

Leslie, do you like your knee strap? I saw that you wore one in your review of Supernatural. Very cool workout by the way.

    1. Agreed, $39 would have been better but I couldn't resist the metallic threads. It may get marked down to $39 or $29 if it doesn't move.

Yes, I love my knee strap. I've had it for a couple of years now, it's my favorite one. I'm also surprised it hasn't stretched out either, so it's well made. I bought it off Amazon. Here's the link-

    2. Thank you Leslie! The reviews look good except it runs small. What size is yours? My measurement is ~12" under my knee cap - medium?

    3. I measure 11 inches and I have the small. If I were any bigger I would need the medium, so yes I think you should get the medium size. It definitely runs small and it doesn't stretch out much at all which surprised me. I've had this one for 4 years!

    4. I just looked at the reviews. The medium measures 14 inches in total length. Some people say go up 2 sizes... to be safe I would go with a large... you do need some room for the velcro to stick.

  4. I didn't even see the long line energy NY edition on the cdn site! I was hoping for the long line energy lunar edition I saw on the HK site... I remain hopefully as we r still 2 weeks away from CNY... Looks like Lulu just put out a bunch of pieces in dark red but it is not the same!

    1. I agree, the Everywhere Belt Bag is dark red and supposedly for LNY but I don't really see anything special about it other than the gold logo... pretty bummed!

  5. I LOVE the blue linen color! I hope they come out with a bunch of items in that color

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
