Review! Scuba Hoodie Plush Soft Heathered Cranberry

Happy Friday! I can't believe it's December. The year is really coming to a close, fast. I thought there would be a second upload from Lulu this week, but I guess not? Are they no longer doing two drops a week for the holidays?

As promised here are some photos of the Scuba Hoodie Plush Heathered Soft Cranberry. For photos of heathered chambray and alpine white check them out here.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically a size 4 in Lululemon tops.

The color looks similar to the website photos but I definitely think the color leans more red. It's a perfect blend of red-orange. On Instagram I asked if the hoodie was orange or red and the response was 16 votes for orange and 41 votes for red.

The soft cranberry is the plushiest and thickest of the three I've tried. This one is definitely a keeper. The fit is closer to heathered chambray but the front is slightly longer. Everything else seems to be the same in terms of fit. I'm wearing a size 4 and it's definitely a more relaxed fit than the alpine white.

(I think this is the most accurate representation of the color in real life. The hardware is also gold!)

To recap, alpine white fits true to size. Chambray and cranberry have a more relaxed fit. In terms of thickness I think the cranberry is the plushiest and slightly thicker than the chambray and alpine white. What do you guys think? Which one is your favorite of the three? Does this look more red or orange to you? That's it for me! Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

  1. Yes! I think that one looks the best on you. Color and fit. Definitely a keeper. I still see it leaning towards the orange-ish side. It’s a nice reddish/orange. Either color, it still looks good on you!

  2. I agree with Sherry 100%! It is between orange and red and looks AMAZING against your skin tone. I wish it were a little more red. If it goes on WMTM, I will definitely pick it up. Thank you for the review!

    1. I have a really good feeling it will likely go on WMTM. All colors and sizes are still in stock right now...

  3. I also agree that the hoodie looks amazing on you, and Heathered Cranberry is the best among the three Plush Hoodies you’ve ordered. It looks more red than orange to me and I wish it were more orange. If there’s anything I don’t like about this hoodie, it would be the gold hardware.

    1. Thanks Andrea! I would say the gold hardware is subtle. It's kind of like a matte brushed gold. Not the super shiny gold.

  4. I agree with everyone that this is the best among the three! I would call it a brick red. I like it more in your photos than the stock pics and would certainly consider picking it up if it goes to WMTM! Thanks for the review!

  5. I love this color the most! I think you can get similar colors year round with the heathered white and chambray. This one is unique too with the gold hardware. Definitely a holiday color without being too red and they typical berry burgundy colors! I like it!

  6. The way it looks on the website doesn't look as good as it does on you! It was a pass when I initially saw it but now I want it :(

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
