What do you think about the Aligned Angles Long Sleeve Nulu top? I think it's interesting, but definitely not for me. I like the Ease Of It All Dress but I know it would drag all over the floor. Has anyone ever tried hemming a dress similar to the one below? I wonder if this is something I should look into. I did order the Align Wide Leg Crop but worried about it being super high rise. I'm prepared that I may not like it. I'm also digging the cherry tint color. Anything for you?

The dress might have potential, and the OTF joggers are cute. I can't remember if you've tried the OTF joggers before, or not. I'm only 5'0" (with short legs) and the 28" is very surprisingly perfect! Normally I have to hem 28" length tights to 25".

DeleteI’m interested in the Ease Of It All Dress. It looks so nice on the model but will probably be a maxi dress on me. :). The dress can be hemmed but then the side slits might still fall on the wrong position ...
ReplyDeleteHaven’t bought a Lulu bra for a long time and the Quiet Within Bra looks really cute, I was a big fan of the Free To Be Bra and Free To Be Wild Bra, and would like to try something else. I remember you recommending that Ebb to Street Bra but I don’t like the wide band.
Would love to read you fit review on the Align Wide Leg Crop! Wanted to give it a try but not sure about the fitting. A lot of Lulu culottes-style pants tend to cling onto my inner thighs and flare out on the sides. Maybe it’s just my body but would love to see how it fits on you.
I finally ordered the Align Crop 21” in Wee Are From Space Grevvy Persian Violet which will be arriving on next Monday, Will let you know if the texture is similar to the herringbone one.
True- hemming is always risky since it throws the proportions off... sigh.

Oh let me know how the texture is on the Persion Violet Aligns! The Wide Leg Crop I think would look nice on me, I just don't know about the super high waist, it might hit my rib cage by the looks of it. LOL.

DeleteBack again to say that I tried the ease of it all dress. At 5'0" it is obviously longer on me than the model, but it didn't quite hit my feet. The material is amazing, and the fit tts. The red colour; however, is more washed out than on the website. Overall I like, and I'm leaning towards keeping it.
