Upload! September 24th 2019

I'm back! Will definitely write up a post over the weekend about my mini vacation to Boston and Newport. I did manage to duck into a few Lululemon's to check out the new stuff but didn't try on anything because we were walking about 9 miles a day in Boston and was too sweaty to try anything on. I was hoping the temperature would be in the 60s and 70s, but it wouldn't really dip below 75 while we were there. I was totally over dressed! I did end up wearing my new Athleta Harmony Wrap the entire time. I decided to keep the charcoal heather and return the teal color.

For tonight's upload I am mostly excited about the Sincerely Sherpa Wrap. I love how it looks and I hope it is really soft. For the price I think it is worth it and it comes in XXS! Anything for you tonight? Let me know!

(I am actually really excited for this and it also comes in size XXS!)

  1. Hope you had a nice little getaway! It has been unusually warm in MA.

Anyway, I was excited to see the wrap and ordered it along with Dare to Drape LS in ivory and the Manifesto mini tote. Expensive week but 15% from ebates/rakuten was a nice surprise!

    1. Nice! What size did you end up ordering on the wrap? I heard about the cash back, and totally tempted to place an order...

    2. XS. I always check the size that the model wears (S) plus the other classic styles that she wears. It looks like she is a little bigger than me, most of them are lol. You may be in between XXS and XS...

    3. I am leaning towards XS. Sometimes the shoulder area is where it won't fit me!. Let me know what you think when you get it!

  2. I really want the washed luna crops but I can't justify the price. That sincerely sherpa wrap looks sooo nice and gorgeous!

  3. Welcome back! I just ordered the Sincerely Sherpa Wrap in size xxs. I don’t like that it has to be hand washed so I’ll only keep it if I really love it!

Will let you know how it fits!

    1. I did notice that too, I wonder if we can just put it in the delicate cycle? Hand washing would be a pain!

  4. Surprisingly the Sincerely Sherpa Wrap arrived! I ordered size XXS and sleeve length is good (it comes with thumb holes). The wrap fits roomy and shapeless, and I think even size XXS would fit too big on you. The two snap button are not too user friendly and it took me forever to close them!

I find the wool a little bit itchy but overall speaking the wrap is warm, soft and comfy. I have a feeling that the inside will pill easily but that what bugs me most is the hand washing part. Even though it will make a nice fall-winter transitional piece, I think I’ll pass cos I hate having to baby my clothing.

I was trying to take pictures for you but because of the color and shape of the wrap, it was challenging and none of the pictures turned out good. Sorry!

    1. Hmmmmm.... so not worth keeping?
I ordered the XS, so looks like I'll have to return it anyways. If it is itchy I probably wouldn't keep it either. What a bummer...
I was really looking forward to this one.

  5. It is nice and you might like it. I’ll probably keep it if not for the hand washing part. :)

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
