Fit Review Friday! Guest Review Dare to Drape Long Sleeve

Hi everyone! I have a guest review from Andrea. As always I welcome guest reviews so if you have something you would like to share and feel it would help other fellow petites send an email to petiteimpact@gmail.com

"I stopped by a Lululemon store on Saturday and the Retreat Yourself Pullover caught my attention.  The material and colors looked gorgeous.  The cut, however, was too boxy and I didn't even bother to try it on.

The store didn't have the Dare to Drape Long Sleeve in stock so I had a GEC order it in both Black and Heathered Ruatic Clay in size XXS for me.  Surprisingly the parcel arrived this morning!

The material is thinner than the one used for the Retreat Yourself Pullover but it's not see-through.  It's soft, comfy and drapes well.  You know I usually only wear black, grey and white but Heathered Rustic Clay is a gorgeous fall color and I'm leaning towards keeping both colors.

I'm attaching a few pictures for you and feel free to share them on your blog.  Sorry I don't have a wider mirror!
For your information, I'm 5'3" and slightly over 100 pounds." - Andrea

Hope everyone has a great weekend! Thank you Andrea!

  1. That’s so cute on you! I like the color too. Thanks for the review I might order one to try on. Does the material wrinkle easily?

  2. Hi Sherry,
The top did come with a lot of wrinkles when I took it out of the bag and you can actually see them from the pictures. However, I don’t think it wrinkles easily with normal wear and the deep creases from packaging should go away after laundry. The top drapes nicely and you should give it a try!

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
